The Bible Does Not Tell Us To Spread Christianity, But Rather To Preach The Good News Of The Gospel
Christianity saves no one, attending church, any church, does not keep you out of Hell, but the believing the gospel of the grace of God absolutely does. And after you get saved, you are tasked with, not bringing people to church, but bringing lost people the same gospel that saved you.
Somewhere along the line, Christianity as a religion replaced being a Bible believer who heard, received and believed the gospel of the grace of God. If you think that Christianity and the gospel are one and the same, they are not. Christianity exists in our day in denominational buckets that come in such flavors as cults, fringe groups, counterfeits and Laodicean has-beens mixed in with the true Bible believers so that the whole thing has become one, big, fat end times mess. But there is a solvent for this stain, and it’s called the King James Bible.
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” - I Thessalonians 1:5-10 (KJV)
