Linkster Note: The commenter above wrote, “I can almost hear the Trumpet sounds.” As a Christian and student of the Bible for over 50 years I am emphatically stating that I am not looking to hear any “Trumpet sounds”! Those trumpets (plural) are during the Tribulation period and are ushered in after the 7th Seal judgment is unsealed, which are the 7 Trumpet Judgments– well into the Tribulation Period. Born-again believers in Christ will not be here for any of the Tribulation Judgments. We will be Pre-Tribulation Raputured from the earth to meet Christ in the air to spend the next 7 years in Heaven at the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, and the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ for Crowns of Glory. The Rapture happens in a twinkling of an eye at the “Last Trump,” NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH the 7th and final 7th Trumpet Judgment which ushers in the final 7 Vial Judgments. The Rapture is the “Blessed Hope.” We will return to earth with Christ at His Second Coming. There are 2 phases to Christ’s Second Advent. Phase 1: Jesus comes for His Church in the air; Phase 2: Jesus returns with His Church to the earth. 1 Corinthians 15:51-55
The Commenter also stated “The day of Noah is upon us.” It is not a single day but rather plural: “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:26-27
Noah (Noe) and his family were saved from the flood– which parallels as the days of Lot in the next two verses: “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:28-29
The two angels could NOT destroy Sodom until Lot and his family were removed from there. Both examples of Noe and Lot are “Types” of the Rapture of the Body of Christ... the Born-again Christians. These “Types” are also a deeper level of understanding prophesies... they are the true prophetic signs.
