What Does It Mean When The Bible Says No Man Can Know The Day Nor The Hour Of The Second Coming Events?

Is it possible to know the day or hour of the Pretribulation Rapture? How about the Second Coming and the appearing of King Jesus? Yes, and no.
The gospels have a lot to say about the return of Jesus Christ at the Second Coming, in fact, Jesus tells us that no man can know the day nor the hour of His return. Many times people will write to me and ask if this is talking about the Rapture of the Church, and the answer is no, and yes. Or they will ask if the ‘day and hour’ is referring to the actual day He returns, that answer is yes, and no. Confused? Don’t be. It’s time to ‘study like a workman.’
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, in order to answer these questions, we need to avail ourselves of not only the entire end times timeline, but also all the conditions that will be present when these events take place. When we understand that the Pretribulation Rapture is actually Day One of the Day of the Lord, we begin to get a little light on our quest. When we further understand that all of these events start firing like dominoes and are all interconnected with each other, the light becomes quite bright indeed. When we understand that God sends a ‘strong delusion’ and the Bible becomes a closed Book and shut off to the majority of the world for a period of time, the light we seek becomes like a thousand Suns.
