On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we look at some of the most-repeated mistakes Christians make in rightly dividing, and show you how to easily fix them.
A brother had written to me and asked me to watch and critique a video made in a rightly dividing Baptist church where the pastor was teaching on understanding what the Body and Bride of Christ is. He had some things right, had some impressive looking and mostly accurate charts showing dispensational things, but then he jumped into Matthew 25 and totally blew. So, even though this was in a King James only, bible believing Baptist church, with infographics telling you they are rightly dividing, they in fact were not. This is far more common than you might think.
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at some ‘rookie mistakes’ that Christians can make when it comes to rightly dividing, and when these same mistakes are taught and repeated by pastors, preachers and evangelists, it can be difficult to cut through all the layers of wrong teaching to get at the truth. Rightly dividing is not a machete to be swung from book to book, rightly dividing is a surgeon’s scalpel that is applied on a verse-by-verse basis. What makes it even more challenging is the fact that all dispensations overlap each other, and thus muddying the theological waters even further.
