But more than that, ‘Oppenheimer’ has stunning correlations to end times Bible prophecy, especially when you get to Revelation 6:8, and see Death personified and riding on the pale horse. In fact, it is through the reading of The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindsey that I first learned about the Rapture. It impressed me enough that it led me to invite Yeshua into my life as my Messiah and Savior. That was the Summer of 1983, exactly forty years ago. Back then, I knew nothing about the Bible or the end times; however, what I was learning about a just, loving and compassionate God seemed to make a lot of sense.
Fast forward to 2023, almost two decades of published daily devotionals, six books, and two degrees later, and the Rapture of the Believers is still on my mind. Frankly, it is probably on my mind more today than it was twenty years ago – likely due to all the world events occurring at a rapid pace in front of our eyes almost every single day.

Mohamed Barakat who shot and killed by a Fargo police officer Friday, was armed with explosives, guns, a homemade grenade and 1,800 rounds of ammunition.
He was a Syrian national who arrived in the US on an asylum request.
Barakat searched online for area public events along with the terms “kill fast” and “mass shooting events” before he ambushed police responding to a car crash, firing nearly 40 rounds, killing one officer and seriously injuring two others and a civilian before he was killed.

Obama Denounces Profoundly Misguided Bans On Sexually Explicit And Pro-LGBT Books From Public School Libraries
By Laura Harris: Former President Barack Obama has written an open letter denouncing the so-called "profoundly misguided" efforts by conservative groups to ban sexually explicit books from public school libraries across the United States.
In his letter addressed to American librarians, Obama wrote that some of the books being banned "shaped my life – and the lives of so many others," further claiming that they are only being banned because they are challenging "people who disagree with certain ideas or perspectives."
Obama further claimed that it is not coincidental that these banned books often feature content from minorities and members of the LGBT community.
The former president further praised librarians in the U.S. for battling "on the frontlines" of the "banned book war" and lent his support to the United Against Book Bans campaign organized by the American Library Association (ALA) attempting to prevent the book bans.
