The Southern Baptist Convention Losing Members As The Question Of How To Handle Things Like Affirming Churches And Female Pastors Roil Their Ranks
The Southern Baptist Convention is an organization that has, sadly, but firmly joined up with the end times Laodicean Church.
The decline of the Southern Baptist Convention is an excellent case-in-point for why Christian churches should not be involved with politics, because that’s not what a Church is called to do. A biblical New Testament church is called to preach the gospel of the grace of God, and to use God’s preserved holy word to do it. In 2023, you won’t find the King James Bible in very many SBC pulpits, and you won’t find Paul’s gospel preached too much, either. At least not the way Paul preached it.
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV)
For the benefit of our Southern Baptist Convention readers, and we have lots of them, let’s ‘uncomplicate’ things to see if we can help them out. What’s the proper response to unrepentant LGBTQ+ as members of the church? It’s no, as per Romans 1:18-32 (KJB). What’s the proper response to female pastors? It’s no, as per 1 Timothy 3:2 (KJB). What’s the mission of the church? Being a witness of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as per 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJB). How involved in politics should Christians be? Every bit as involved as the apostles were in Acts 5:40-42 (KJB), which is to say not at all. No where in anything Paul ever wrote is any Christian called to fight the ‘culture wars’ even one time. Whenever Paul was given a chance to ‘speak before kings’, he always used it to preach the gospel, and cared nothing for ‘effecting cultural change’. Acts 26:1-28 (KJB) will tell you all about that. It’s not complicated. You can’t win the ‘culture wars’ but you can preach the gospel and let the Lord work.
You can be a Christian or a politician, you just can’t be both. Can the SBC turn things around? Perhaps, but Revelation 3:14-22 (KJB) says they likely will not.

Making Jesus In Their Own Image: Leftists Use AI To Rewrite Bible, Talk To God
By Kate Anderson/Daily Caller: Liberal activists are using artificial intelligence to rewrite the Bible and put words in the mouth of Jesus, a Daily Caller News Foundation review found.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) introduced their version of the biblical account of the creation story of Adam and Eve to give a "can't-be-missed animal rights message filled with vegan teachings," according to a May press release. PETA's manipulation of AI is one in a long list of concerns that religious advocates who spoke to the DCNF had about the technology's impact on faith.
"I do have concerns with what I understand PETA has done, which is using artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, to rewrite the creation story," David Closson, director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Center, explained. "There's obviously different translations of the Old and the New Testament with ChatGPT ... but this isn't just a difference in translation. This is a different interpretation of the actual text and I think that there are theological issues with what PETA is putting out in this version of the Bible."

The teenager, the video shows, was stopped by two police officers, one of whom has his gun drawn. As the teenager drives away, a loud bang is heard as an officer appears to shoot within point blank range in broad daylight. The police officer who fired the shot later told investigators that he was trying to stop the driver from fleeing and was worried that he or his colleague would be hurt if the driver got away.”

Mark Green (R-Tenn.) will introduce a bill designed to ensure that states are free to enact pro-life legislation without fear of retribution from the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is threatening to withhold Title X funding from states that have passed legislation protecting unborn children in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.
The federal Title X Family Planning Program was instituted in 1970 and provides family planning and related preventive health care services to low-income families across the U.S. Since its inception, Title X funds were prohibited from going to entities that carry out abortion. But in 2021, the Biden administration instituted a Title X rule requiring abortion referrals upon client request. In March of 2023, HHS informed Tennessee that it was “out of compliance” with this regulation due to the state passing legislation protecting unborn babies, and would therefore withhold Title X funding from the state.

Even unbelievers, professing atheists and pagans report a feeling of impending doom and dread.
Things have changed rapidly over the past couple of years and those who serve as watchmen have been sounding the warning to “repent!” “Seek God.” “Choose who you will serve and if it be God, then get serious about your service to Him and the commission He’s called you to.” But few have listened. I sometimes wonder if all the information and warnings I, myself give, are simply falling on deaf ears too. What will it take for Godly men and women to rise up, stand up, speak up and understand the urgency, and lateness of the hour?

The Declaration of Independence states that every person possesses three inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Two hundred and forty-seven years have passed, and we have mostly forgotten what those words mean.
Today it seems that most of us think that the pursuit of happiness means the pursuit of pleasure and the avoidance of pain and distress. This confusion can best be explained by the dumbing down of America which we covered in our last video, and the gross lack of spiritual enlightenment in today’s society. In modern society the childish Atheist will often ask; if there is a GOD, why do bad things happen to good people? As if the Earth is supposed to be a Utopia where humans are born to experience nothing but pleasure. Like all Utopian ideations, this is a fantasy for the weak-minded who seek to avoid the pain of life. Bad things happen to everyone so that we can overcome them, learn, and grow.
