The Wonderful Decree Of Grace
Transcript: We have a wonderful Savior today. And today the throne of God is not a throne of judgment; it’s a throne of grace. God doesn’t want to hurt you. He’s got His arms outstretched to a lost world. God is saying, “Come. But you’ll have to come My way. You’ll have to believe Me.” “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved…” and “…there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” This is the decree that’s come out today from a wonderful God, and it’s come out actually to a lost world. And what a wonderful decree it is.

About Church of the Open Door
Built in 1914, the 4000-seat Church of the Open Door was conceived by R. A. Torrey who had come to Los Angeles to start a Bible institute (now known as Biola University) similar to Moody Bible Institute. Other pastors have included Louis T. Talbot (1932–1948) and J. Vernon McGee (1949–1970). The church is strictly non-denominational, though Evangelical. Its mission was to reach the lost of Los Angeles, which was reflected in the name ‘Church of the Open Door’ based on two passages of Scripture:
