Richard Branson Of Virgin Galactic Successfully Launches First Outer Space Tourists, But Is Anyone Paying Attention To Psalm 115:16?
Virgin Galactic’s first commercial space flight took off from New Mexico today and successfully carried three passengers to the edge of space.
It looks like the age of commercial space travel has finally arrived, Richard Branson of Virgin Galactic just took up his first civilian passengers to the edge of Outer Space. While they were all enjoying superb views of our very round Earth, I could not help but be reminded of the part in my King James Bible where it shows me that man is not meant for space travel, nor was he given dominion in that arena. The fact that he has applied Genesis 11:6 to figure it out is besides the point, or just maybe, it’s the entire point.
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” Psalm 115:16 (KJV)
On our weekly NTEB Radio Bible Studies, we have been taking a multi-part look at things associated with the Mark of the Beast, and last night we spent some time on his image. The whole world is preparing itself, right now, to receive Antichrist, and I can guarantee you there will be an Outer Space connection when he arrives. This is why we are seeing such a huge uptick in UFO sightings and reports of alien visitors. Unsaved man is determined to ‘see what’s up there’, and one day very soon, God is going to show him. Aren’t you glad all that will be after the Rapture?

Imagine how Peter, John and James would have felt to witness such an event. Everything about the scene would have been startling, even after all that they had witnessed so far during Christ’s public ministry.
Before their eyes they witnessed a transformation unlike anything they would have seen before. In fact, Matthew and Mark use the Greek word “metamorphoo” from which we derive our English word “metamorphosis”. But while you might immediately think of a butterfly coming forth from a cocoon, this is not merely a change in outward appearance, the Lord is allowing His glory to shine forth.
Hebrews 1:1-3 records: “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:” (emphasis added)
This description and the Transfiguration recorded by Matthew, Mark and Luke confirms that the ensuing death of Christ would not destroy the glory to follow.

Texas Troopers Rescue Children Being Smuggled Over U.S.-Mexico Border
By Leo Hohmann: Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety announced last month they have rescued more than 900 children being smuggled into and through Texas from Mexico by human traffickers.
DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez announced the arrests were made as part of Texas’ border-security mission, known as Operation Lone Star.
Among those rescued was a 5-year-old Honduran girl who’d been smuggled into Texas by three adult women who weren’t related to her. The women found the girl in Piedras Negras, Mexico, and then brought her with them as they crossed illegally into Texas between ports of entry.
