We have been telling you for quite some time now to prepare yourselves for the moment when live ‘space aliens’ from a UFO pop up on the nightly news. That day is most assuredly coming. 1. Violence is evil, hurtful, and damaging to its own cause. I abhor it.
2. I shouldn’t watch too much TV news right now or pay much attention to social media reports, because what is being reported doesn’t totally reflect what really happened. Everything is interpreted for us through the lens of a biased media. Divergent perspectives on important stories are often squelched altogether. Warped conclusions are forced on the public when the truth is that there’s no end to bad actors and enough blame to go around in all directions.
3. For now, I’ll choose not to believe a single politician. Nor most media outlets. Nor Big Tech. Especially not Big Tech. As cynical as I am about secularism, even I am surprised at the openness and speed with which Big Tech is eradicating conservative voices in our society. For instance, media platforms exploited the 2021 Capitol incident as an excuse to silence millions of voices. Their monopoly gives them a virtual chokehold on freedom of speech. This is very wrong. It should frighten us all.
I’m not an advocate of a political point of view. My concern is for the Gospel message and for a biblical worldview. If Big Tech has the power to suppress political viewpoints, how soon will it begin suppressing spiritual Truth? Despots of all ages have tried to silence the Gospel. How many times in history have Bibles been banned and burned? This isn’t new, but our technology has increased the stakes.

For example, earlier today Yahoo News posted a "news story" that was entitled "Kim Kardashian Appeared To Accidentally Post An Unedited Selfie This Weekend". With everything else that is going on in the world, that is what they want us to focus on?
I couldn't care less about what selfies Kim Kardashian chooses to post on social media.
But I do care about all of the Christians that are being slaughtered in Manipur state in India...

Just in case you were still wondering who is at the apex in our increasingly degrading and degraded foreign policy, there’s this disgraceful moment from Biden’s retreat.
Before they were allowed to leave Kabul in August 2021, having just lost 13 comrades to a suicide bomber, US Marines were ordered to pick up human feces and other disgusting trash at the airport so as to leave it pristine for the Taliban.
This humiliation is recounted for the first time in a new book, “Kabul: The Untold Story of Biden’s Fiasco and the American Warriors Who Fought to the End.”
The Kabul airport passenger terminal was filthy on Aug. 28, 2021, after the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.
More than 120,000 Afghans had camped there for a week, “defecating and leaving trash, bags, clothes, and other unspeakable things.”
Marines at every level were infuriated at being “forced to scoop up human poop.”
The order to clean “came with a threat that we would not leave at all if it was not completed,” one junior Marine told authors Jerry Dunleavy and James Hasson.
Whom exactly were they cleaning it for? The Taliban? It wasn’t enough that Biden decided to hand so many of our weapons and vehicles to the enemy, he also wanted to make sure that the Taliban would enjoy a spic-and-span airport?
The Afghans aren’t especially toilet trained and the waste problem followed them to America.
