California in general and San Francisco in particular have become perverse places, a dystopian nightmare from which Californians cannot seem to wake themselves. Democrat policies under former congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and current governor Gavin Newsom have been nothing short of devastating, yet the masochistic residents of California can’t seem to get enough, voting them in cycle after cycle. Now drug overdose deaths in the death city by the bay have reached all-time highs, what is Gavin Newsom doing about it? Ordering all toy retailers to have a gender-neutral section. Yes sir, that’s the ticket. Inmates running the asylum as the crowd goes wild, that’s Gavin Newsom’s California.

Jesus provides the answer in verse 19, "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." Can this be avoided? According to Jesus, I'd say no. He said, "If they persecuted me," which they did, "they will also persecute you" (v. 20).
Scripture repeatedly informs us that we will be hated, rejected, and persecuted for our faith, so we shouldn't be surprised. Following Jesus means to counter all of man's natural desires, making it both controversial and offensive to the unconverted. And the Bible, authoritative and eternal, does not change with the times.
So, as the times evolve further away from adherence to biblical mandates, Christians can only expect pushback to intensify and become more common. The world doesn't necessarily hate you, but it hates the Truth you proclaim.

Once the drugs wore off, the reality of Hamas’s imprisonment of these innocents became evident.
Because time is passing and the voices of the deniers are growing louder (which I will address in a moment), I want to list here some of the hostages’ revelations that I detailed in my Telegram channel. Many captives were executed, denied medical treatment, and starved. Women were kept in cages. Some of the hostages were forced to eat toilet paper. They were separated from their families, sleep deprived, light deprived, and forced to watch the October 7 atrocities.
Elderly women were required to sleep on plastic chairs. Children were branded with exhaust pipes, forced to whisper, and not allowed to cry. The perpetrators beat the hostages, kept them in solitary confinement, denied them basic hygiene, and confined them to cramped spaces. They denied them information about their families and forced them to participate in degrading propaganda videos. Their hopelessness was made greater by the fact that they didn’t even receive a single visit from the Red Cross.

Baby Cox has Trisomy 18, a chromosomal disorder that could shorten his or her life. Doctors anticipate that Baby Cox’s illness could require a cesarean section or induction, which could put Ms. Cox’s future fertility at risk. Dr. Karsan and Ms. Cox sought approval from the court to abort Baby Cox.
Pregnant mothers and their babies deserve compassion and love, not to be used as instruments by pro-abortion groups.
