• More information is coming out concerning the school shooting that took place in Perry, Iowa, yesterday morning. The alleged shooter had posted on Tik Tok. Those that were able to obtain screen shots of his online presence shows he had a pride flag in his Tik Tok bio and has allegedly participated in a transgender Reddit group.
• Hamas fired at least 27 rockets at the south and center of Israel as the nation attempted to celebrate the start of the New Year.
• Israeli Defense Forces announced Monday the killing of Hamas Commander Adil Mismah who took part in the October 7th invasion of Israel.
• Saleh L. Arouri, Deputy Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, was killed in an explosion in Southern Beirut on Tuesday.
• Israel began withdrawing thousands of troops from Gaza as prolonged fighting is expected to continue.
• Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas’s Political Bureau, said that they’re open to the idea of a national unity government to run the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
• ISIS is claiming responsibility for the suicide bomb attacks in Iran this week.
• More than a dozen nations have issued an ultimatum to Yemen’s Iranian-backed Houthis after the militant group fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles in the Southern Red Sea.
• The TSA is monitoring a potential terror threat against the U.S. from an affiliate of Al Qaeda known as the AQAP.
• Over 100 anti-Israeli protesters shut down the California Assembly on Wednesday during its first legislative session of the year.

I voted for Donald Trump for president in 2016, again in 2020, and would like to vote for him a third time in 2024, but it’s getting harder and harder. Earlier today on his Truth Social site, Donald Trump shared a video called ‘So God Made Trump’, which borrows liberally from the Paul Harvey classic ‘So God Made A Farmer’, and injected this new creation with an extra-helping of messianic fervor. It’s not good, it’s really not good. Some are calling it ‘blasphemy’.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Matthew 24:4-5 (KJV)
Politics in any nation, and especially in America, is a dirty and disgusting enterprise run by corrupt people with their own agenda looking to enrich themselves and grab power. If Jesus was walking amongst us now as in the New Testament, He wouldn’t be running for any office. The Bible says that at the Second Advent, He comes as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, and wipes out all the governments of the world. By Decision Magazine: When Mike Johnson was elected speaker of the House of Representatives in late October after bids by several Republican nominees had failed, the Louisiana congressman stepped up to the rostrum with an unmistakable sense of calling. In the wake of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s ouster and the bureaucratic chaos that had engulfed Congress for weeks, Johnson was resolute.
“I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a [matter] like this,” Johnson said during his Oct. 25 acceptance speech in the House chamber. “I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the One that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you, all of us, and I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time. This is my belief. I believe that each one of us has a huge responsibility today to use the gifts that God has given us to serve the extraordinary people of this great country, and they deserve it, and to ensure that our republic remains standing as the great beacon of light and hope and freedom in a world that desperately needs it.”
During Johnson’s 19-minute speech, which was broadcast live on cable news networks, the 52-year-old father of four thanked his family for their support, especially Kelly, his wife of 25 years, who he said had “spent the last couple of weeks on her knees in prayer to the Lord.”

By Zachary Goldsmith/JNS.org: One of the most evocative photographs documenting the Holocaust depicts no dead bodies, gas chambers or smokestacks. It is a photograph of a floor upon which two Yiddish words were hastily written in blood: "Yidden, Nekamah!" ("Jews, Revenge!").
The U.S. Holocaust Museum notes that this inscription was "scrawled in blood on the apartment floor of a Jew murdered in the Slobodka pogrom." It explains, "On the night of June 25-26, 1941, one day after the German occupation of Kovno, Lithuanian nationalists unleashed a massive pogrom in the district of Vilijampole, known to Jews as Slobodka. Over 800 Jews were murdered in their homes in the most savage manner without any interference from Lithuanian or German authorities."
I've been thinking of this image a lot since Oct. 7. I think of it when I hear the growing calls for a "ceasefire," "peace" and an end to the "conflict" between Israel and Hamas. To those making such proclamations, I would answer with the story of this image, because it illustrates the unique nature of Israel's war against the terror organization.
Hamas's brutal massacre of 1,200 innocents, women and men, young and old, sick and well, proves that this is not a war like other wars. It is not a war between two civilized belligerents who roughly agree on a set of values regarding human life and the customs and constraints to be observed in war.
