Rocket Fire And Drone Attacks From Hezbollah In Lebanon Have Created Massive Wildfires Across Israel Sparking Outcry From Residents For Payback

Most of the news stories about Israel lately are about their war with Hamas in Gaza, and that certainly commands the lion’s share of attention for sure. But there is a second front to this war to the north with Hezbollah in Lebanon that has grown steadily worse as time goes on. Right now, massive fires are raging in sections of northern Israel as a result of incoming drone and rocket attacks from Hezbollah, as well as from the counterattacks Israel is launching.

Our Nation Is Dying Because Of Idle Shepards Who Refuse To Get Involved In ‘Political Issues’
By Jack HJibbs: Abortion is one of the driving political forces of this current election cycle. Sadly, many ill-informed pastors and Christians refuse to get involved in things like the sanctity of life because of their politics. “That’s political stuff,” they say. Really?
Do you know how that happened? Politicians ran into the church, took the topic of abortion, and declared it to be a political issue, knowing that a weak, worthless, wimpy church would bow down and leave the scene. The political world ran in and said, “Marriage is not a church issue; it’s a political issue!” And the church just collapsed and folded.
As you can tell, I have no confidence at all in a church that is not a New Testament church. Why would I? Why would anybody? The church has to be the ground and pillar of all truth. The church has to be the entity by which the world is brought to the knowledge of God and also the conviction of God. The church is to be the most loved and the most hated people on Earth—just like Jesus.
If you are a pastor who says, “We just preach the gospel,” and neglects to get involved in the things your people have to live through six days a week, you are an idle Shepherd. You may have a degree. You may have your doctorate in ministry. You may come from a long line of preachers. That is irrelevant! Unless you and I are being salt and light and effective in the culture, we have become good for nothing to be cast out on the roadway and trampled under the foot of men (Matt. 5:13). In that scenario, our lampstand has been removed from its holder, Jesus said, because it has become a candle without a light (Matt. 5:14-16).

Navigating history's ever-shifting landscape can be complex, as each day brings new developments; but the overall conflict is simple to grasp. Terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, and factions of the Palestinian Authority (PA) refuse to accept the existence of a Jewish state. That is why tensions still exist between Israel and the Palestinians and many Arab nations.
Lebanon (established 1943), Syria (1946), Jordan (1946), and Israel (1948) were all formed within the same decade as a result of the dismantling of the Turkish Empire after World War I. However, Israel is the only country on that list whose right to exist is disputed. When Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan acquired independence, no neighboring countries stormed their borders or contested their sovereignty.
Why was Israel not afforded the same recognition? The answer is simple: Israel is a Jewish state.
Today, Israel's neighbors no longer strategize how to use their military force to destroy the little Jewish country; but Iranian proxies occupy Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and Gaza to plot against Israel and execute acts of terror to remind the Jewish people they are not wanted.

In the event of a full-blown nuclear exchange between the United States and Russia, millions of people would die immediately, and hundreds of millions would die during the nuclear winter and global famines that occur in the aftermath. So nuclear war should be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately, both sides just continue to escalate matters in Ukraine, and the Russians keep warning us that if they are pushed too far they will be forced to use nuclear weapons. But our leaders are not taking such threats seriously. They seem to believe that they can keep creeping closer and closer to the red lines that the Russians have established because they are convinced that the Russians will never actually risk a nuclear war. Of course we better hope that our leaders do not miscalculate, because if a nuclear war erupts most Americans are going to end up dead.
