If The Lord Is A Zionist, Believers In God’s Word Ought To Be Also

If you’re not, you are heading on a collision course with God, and you will have to give an account one day of what you did or didn’t do to “the least of these” Jesus’ brothers and sisters, the Jewish people. If God is a Zionist, we ought to be!
Now, maybe you’re wondering, “What is Zionism?” Very simply, it means that you identify that the Jewish people have a right to return to their ancestral homeland.
Douglas Murray, a British author, conservative political commentator, journalist, and solid advocate for Israel and the Jewish people, laid out Zionism very well in a recent Munk Debate in Toronto, Canada.
Here are just a few highlights of what he said in that debate:

You might have thought there would be hatred around the world erupting that the government of Qatar and its mouthpiece, Al Jazeera, [are] funding Hamas and hosting the leadership of Hamas in Qatar.
You might have thought there would have been an outpouring of rage at the Islamic Revolutionary government of Tehran. But, no. There was an immediate outpouring of rage against the State that had been attacked.

In 1970, Hal Lindsey published The Late Great Planet Earth. The book sold millions of copies and introduced a generation to the miraculous fulfillment of bible prophecy throughout the ages and right up to the present time. Coming on the heels of World War II, the rebirth of Israel, the Six Day War, and widespread societal upheaval, many were convinced the rapture would take place before the end of the decade.
But the 1970's came and went, and Jesus did not return. Then, in the 1980's and 1990's, numerous bible prophecy books with titles like "Countdown to Armageddon" and "Final Warning" sold all over the world. Again, many people were convinced Jesus would return before the end of the century.
Yet Jesus didn't come. Then the world experienced Y2K, the September 11th terrorist attacks, and the phenomenal success of the Left Behind series. Once again, it seemed as though Jesus would return at any moment. But once again, he didn't. And then something happened. Complacency set it.
End Times Indifference
Because Jesus hadn't come, many Christians began to openly doubt whether He ever would. Why? I believe there are at least two reasons. First, we live in a culture that demands instant gratification. We don't like to wait as little as two minutes for a microwave oven to cook a meal it took our grandparents half a day to prepare. We're impatient, and we're used to getting what we want when we want...

President Joe Biden made a lot of embarrassing gaffes in his so-called “Big Boy press conference” last night, Thursday, July 11, including his referral to Donald Trump as his vice president. Earlier in the day he had referred to Ukraine’s illegitimate (unelected) dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “President Putin.”
But he made one other slip of the tongue that was perhaps the most telling of all and has not elicited much coverage in the corporate media. Watch video clip here.

Last year, more than a million abortions were performed in the United States. That was the first year since 2012 that we have surpassed the one million abortion mark. Many people thought that the number of abortions would go down once Roe v. Wade was overturned, but that didn’t happen. One of the primary reasons why the number of abortions is going up is because of the widespread availability of abortion pills. It has become so easy to get abortion pills through the mail, and that includes states where abortion is otherwise restricted or banned. If we don’t do something about all of these abortion pills that are flying around, the number of abortions in this country will almost certainly continue to go up. Unfortunately, it does not appear that anything will be done to restrict abortion pills on the national level any time soon.
