By Amir Tsarfati: Shalom from the beautiful, summery Israel! It has been warm and dry, and it seems that all that’s fallen from the sky lately had its origins in Lebanon. Actually, they were just launched from Lebanon. We have Iran to thank for our nightly fireworks display. But more about that below.
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t worry about Israel. God has us safely in His hand. He has mapped out our future and He will carry out His will. I am much more concerned with the United States, the United Kingdom, and the rest of Europe. I see them spiraling down as the result of terrible domestic and international decisions they have made over the recent years. I also worry as I see them separating themselves from Israel, some countries faster than others. The Scriptures make it clear that God watches these relationships, and He acts accordingly. In Israel, we recognize who our friends are and who are merely pretending to support us. We’ve been burned before, and we won’t allow ourselves to be burned again.

Trump hyperbole? No.
The former president is not alone in thinking this way. "China and Russia's 'no-limits' partnership, formed in February 2022 just days before Russia's invasion of Ukraine, has only deepened and broadened to include a military and economic partnership with Iran and North Korea, each of which presents its own significant threat to U.S. interests," states the Commission on the National Defense Strategy in its 114-page report released three days after Trump spoke. "This new alignment of nations opposed to U.S. interests creates a real risk, if not likelihood, that conflict anywhere could become a multitheater or global war."
Not only is global conflict on the horizon, the Commission's report reveals America is woefully unprepared for what is coming. Take the Department of Defense, for instance. "The Commission finds that DoD's business practices, byzantine research and development and procurement systems, reliance on decades-old military hardware, and culture of risk avoidance reflect an era of uncontested military dominance," the report states. "Such methods are not suited to today's strategic environment."

END OF THE AMERICAN DREAM
By Michael Snyder: Have we reached a point of no return? As I write this article, the world is waiting for news that Iran has attacked Israel. If it happens, it is likely to be a significantly larger attack than the last one. Of course once Iran attacks, then everyone will be watching Israel to see if they strike back or not. If Israel chooses not to strike back, this could be the end of it for a while. But ultimately this is a war that is still just getting started. It is just a matter of time before all-out war erupts, and when we finally reach that point the death and destruction that we will witness will shock the entire globe.
