• Representative Matt Gaetz said a senior Homeland Security Department official approached him as a whistleblower shortly before the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life.

By Breanna Claussen: Despite Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger’s warnings that the online encyclopedia has become a bastion of bias and “leftist propaganda,” millions continue to rely on it as their primary source of information on a wide array of topics.
One of the most recent issues highlighting the danger of Wikipedia’s impact on public opinion came when the group changed its definition of Zionism in mid-June. Though only now drawing public attention, the revisions are receiving severe backlash on social media, with users warning that “history is being rewritten.”
While much of the condemnation focuses on changes made between 2023 and 2024, venturing further back to Wikipedia’s page in 2004 shows just how far the editors have gone in redefining Zionism.
“Zionism is a political movement among Jews holding that the Jewish people constitute a nation and are entitled to a national homeland,” the 2004 page stated. “The word ‘Zionist’ derives from the word ‘Zion,’ being one of the names of Jerusalem, as mentioned in the Bible. To diaspora Jews, Zion has been a symbol of the Holy Land and of their return to it, as promised by God in Biblical prophecies.”
Though still far from perfect in its definition, the page in 2004 acknowledged the Jewish history in the land, the desire of Jews to return since the Roman Empire’s destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, the antisemitism faced globally by diaspora Jews, and that there has always remained, to varying degrees, a Jewish presence in the land.
Slowly rewritten over time, the latest revisions made in June now insist that Zionism is an “ethno-cultural nationalist movement” rooted in the desire to “create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible.”

Lab tests of two items — the non-organic apple and the pear fruit purees for babies — revealed no less than 21 pesticides, including 12 classified as extremely hazardous to human health.
Chemical pesticides called neonicotinoids were present in 100% of the baby food samples tested. These chemicals have been linked to birth defects of the heart and brain, learning disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, damage to the nervous system and hormone disruption.

By Derrick Broze/Activist Post: On September 13, United Nations member states completed the 4th draft of the Pact for the Future document which is expected to be signed this weekend at the Summit of the Future in New York City. With the Summit set to begin on Sunday, and "Action Days" for the Summit beginning Friday, the public is unlikely to see the final version of the document before it is signed by all 193 member states of the UN.
The Summit of the Future is taking place during the 79th session of the annual UN General Assembly. The summit has been in the making since at least 2022 after repeated calls by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to shift financial resources to rapidly complete the Agenda 2030 goals set by the UN in 2015.
The 4th edition of the Pact for the Future was placed under silence procedure on September 13 until Monday evening. During this 72 hour period, the draft is circulated to all Member States. If there are no objections during the silence procedure the draft is accepted. If the silence is "broken" with member state objections, an additional draft is released.

By John Deyermond, Maj. Gen (ret.): Today our military services face growing threats around the world while their ability to maintain a quality, well-trained, and capable force is at risk. Our focus should be on readiness, warfighting, and especially selecting the best qualified leaders possible, not on recruiting Drag Queens to perform for service members and their families or promoting sex-reassignment surgeries. Historically, our personnel systems have been built on merit, individual performance, and equal opportunity, aimed at selecting the best qualified.
Over the past several years that focus on merit has been replaced by a system built on a Marxist ideology we know as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Critical Race Theory (CRT). The embrace of this divisive ideology by both our civilian and military leadership has had a significant negative impact on the Armed Forces. It has served to destroy unit cohesion, lower standards, and use race and gender to define outcomes. Even the West Points motto: Duty, Honor, Country, has been jettisoned from the school’s mission statement, all in the name of DEI. The personnel and readiness problems we face today, especially in recruiting and retention can be traced to the introduction of this ideology. A recent WSJ article highlighted a 30-year study done with over 800 companies that embraced DEI. They found it had no positive impact on the workplace. Not a surprise.
The public’s trust and confidence in the military is at an all-time low, while retention and recruiting rates have plummeted, with a shortage at one point of over 40k recruits -- an unheard-of number. Parents and family members no longer encourage their children to serve. For the first time this includes military family members serving on active duty. The impact is to discourage young men and women from joining, especially middle-class males who traditionally have been the largest source of recruitment. I continually hear this expressed to me by the public. This places our ability to successfully fight and win a major conflict at serious risk.
