Transcript: I’m wondering today if you have realized the price that was paid for you. 1900 years ago a Savior had to go to the cross and suffer—actually had to go through the very pain of hell—in order that He might purchase your redemption. He’s not accepting anything from any person today for salvation. It’s “to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly.” Oh, my friend, what a price was paid. We say to you, trust Him and you will be saved. He that “call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” God doesn’t ask you to do anything. He’s done it all for you.

About Church of the Open Door
Built in 1914, the 4000-seat Church of the Open Door was conceived by R. A. Torrey who had come to Los Angeles to start a Bible institute (now known as Biola University) similar to Moody Bible Institute. Other pastors have included Louis T. Talbot (1932–1948) and J. Vernon McGee (1949–1970). The church is strictly non-denominational, though Evangelical. Its mission was to reach the lost of Los Angeles, which was reflected in the name ‘Church of the Open Door’ based on two passages of Scripture:
