“What a Wonderful Preacher! How could I missed Dr. Peter S. Ruckman in my whole past years? I got wonderful idea to memorize The Word of God: The Holy Bible, KJV. Thanks for this amazing post.” – Arulraj 2696

“The Book we carry is the Book that carries us, it’s alive." So profound. Amen Doc!” – Ashley Deshields 887

“Having just sat through a Sunday school Lesson - - on the Dead Sea Scrolls ... I REALLY needed to hear some absolute TRUTH! Apparently, the textual critics have adopted the Dead Sea Scrolls (while explaining that I needed to memorize Dead Sea Scrolls to keep up with .... whatever!).

I came to the conclusion that this Dead Sea Scrolls “lesson” was another apologetic for modern versions. I continued to mull the event over, and finally came to another conclusion: The primary lexicon for textual criticism is the Nestle/Aland Greek, currently in its 28th edition ... so, one must needs ask: Before you taught this lesson, have you checked every one of those 28 editions that have been published since 1881? If not, you are just trusting the MEN who told you the significance of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint.

Here I am, sitting in a Baptist church and someone is telling me that the Apocrypha has been found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, as though that was some badge of honor! I am starting to get used to this .... listening to Dr. Ruckman is what keeps a civil tongue in my head and the Lord gives me peace.

So interesting to find a fitting message from Dr. Ruckman that keeps me focused on the Lord, and what HE can do!

Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Amen!” – Paul Critchfield 9825
