By Geoffrey Grider: President Trump has shared an AI-generated video depicting his resort-like vision for the future of Gaza — featuring a gigantic golden statue of the president as well as images of him lounging topless poolside with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In our Wednesday night Bible Study at Bethany Baptist, and on many episodes of our ‘Rightly Dividing’ radio program, we have studied the book of Daniel paying close attention to the connection between the golden statue in chapter 3 and the ‘Image of the Beast’ in Revelation 13. You know what we learned? We learned that anytime someone wants a statue of themselves, in gold no less, it is always a bad thing. Always. Are there no Bible believing Christians anywhere in Trump’s world to tell him the direction he’s being led down now, by Elon Musk, is a bad thing? As it turns out, there are no Bible believers anywhere in Trump’s world, and if there are, they are too afraid to open their mouths. That’s the memo.
If Barack Obama or Joe Biden has posted an AI video of themselves doing the exact same thing that Trump is doing in his video, every “prophet” on YouTube would be doing endless hours of podcasting about the Antichrist being revealed. You know that’s a true statement and you’re lying if you say otherwise. I am not saying that Trump is the Antichrist, because I don’t think that, but come on, man, what’s the deal?
This is not politics we are watching, this is a highly-funded and elaborate stage play, it’s theater, and Elon Musk is calling the shots. So the real question we need to ask ourselves is why does Elon Musk want to take control of Gaza? An area that “just happens” to be next to Jerusalem. Yep, you should start there and when you can answer that question, you’ll understand the reason for the golden statue. Elon Musk just may be developing the ultimate app of all time.

They operate with the same authority as creeds, are believed in the same way the faithful believe their creeds, and to violate them is to risk excommunication, or in today’s language, to be cancelled. For all intents and purposes, they operate like a secular religion. The dream given is for a utopian vision of the world made possible by adhering to a set of cardinal doctrines. In order for this to happen though – all people must play their part – and if coercion and persuasion does not work – then legislation must be used.
Globalism is really a form of utopian imperialism and has been in operation since the Tower of Babel and modelled by many of the imperial empires that followed in history. The world has seen many empires seek global dominance: the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Persians, the Romans, and the Ottomans, to name just a few.
As Dr. Boot from the Wilberforce Centre notes: “The seeds of modern globalism were planted in the Enlightenment era as cultural elites began turning away from Christianity and the vision of the protestant nation state and started formulating globalist manifestos, emulating the ancient Greeks.”
Such secularised models of uniformity demand that beliefs that cannot be embraced universally must be rejected – more than that, they must be fiercely resisted. This does not leave room for the outworking of the Christian faith in public life and is the motivation behind why most people try to push faith to the “private sphere” of life, usually with the unstated intent of eradicating it completely.

Did you know that moving a few miles to temporarily get out of the way of gunfire constitutes an “exodus”?
I didn’t either until I read the appalling headline on the front page of The New York Times on Feb. 18: “In West Bank, Israel’s Tactics Cause Exodus.”
This was a thinly disguised attempt to invert Jewish history by headline writers. Look, it says, the Jews are doing to Arabs what Pharaoh did to the Jews! But while the Jews experienced an actual exodus in ancient Egypt, the Palestinian Arabs of today are undergoing nothing of the sort.
According to the Times, Israel’s recent counter-terrorist operations in the Palestinian Authority cities of Jenin, Tulkarem and Tubas have “displaced roughly 40,000 Palestinians from their homes.”
Where have they gone? Not to another continent or another country. Not even another city. This fake “exodus” appears to consist of heading just a few blocks away. The “displaced” people are living with “friends and relatives” or in “wedding halls, schools, mosques, municipal buildings and even a farm shed.”
