As Conservative Influencers Are Seen Flashing ‘Declassified’ Binders
By Geoffrey Grider: Conservative influencers seen leaving the White House with binders labeled ‘The Epstein Files – Phase 1.’ was roundly mocked online today, and rightly so.
I take no pleasure in bringing you these stories about the things being done in the Trump administration, from the Golden Goat to the Golden Statue of King Trump, it’s safe to say they are off to a very bad start. Today they promised to release the long-hidden and equally long-awaited Jeffrey Epstein files, what they actually released were silly binders that looked like they were assembled by high school interns, labeled ‘The Epstein Files – Phase 1’. What was contained in those silly binders caused an outrage online due to their lack of any meaningful content.
Glenn Beck had this to say about ‘The Epstein Files – Phase 1’: “Who is subverting POTUS? The #Epsteinfiles are a total joke. I know Kash, Pam B and The President. This is not the file. WH tells me that they believe the usual suspects FBI/SDNY has the actual #EpsteinClientList and are refusing to turn it over. THIS IS AN INTERNAL CIVIL WAR if true.”
Beck is correct when he says what was released today is a joke, but a joke on who exactly? If you really wanted to release the Epstein Files, you would have put it on a web site and let the entire country view it at the same time. The actual Epstein Files may indeed come out, but this is not it, this is theater, and the joke’s on…you.

By Dean Dwyer: You have probably heard it said that in the Bible the minor prophets deliver a major message. One such minor prophet was Obadiah who dealt with the subject of God’s judgement against Edom. Because of Edom’s location along a major trade route and its impregnable rock fortress, they had what most nations covet – prosperity and security. But, like many nations today they also had pride and a burning hatred for God’s chosen people.
It was the great cruelty that the Edomites showed against God’s chosen people which resulted in their eventual judgement. Noting that Obadiah only contains one chapter, this is outlined in verses 10 to 14: “For violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. In the day that you stood on the other side – in the day that strangers carried captive his forces, when foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem – even you were as one of them. But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother in the day of his captivity; nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; nor should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress. You should not have entered the gate of My people in the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. You should not have stood at the crossroads to cut off those among them who escaped; nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained in the day of distress.”
There is disagreement amongst Bible scholars as to which event Obadiah is referencing. Although there are four possible occasions, most favor one of two – a date of around the 840’s BC when the Philistines and Arabians attacked Jerusalem when King Jehoram was reigning or the time of the Babylonian invasion of 586BC. Although that portion of the prophecy has been fulfilled, what interests me is that there is a very similar mindset adopted by Israel’s neighbors today which mirrors the actions and attitude of the Edomites. But, just like the Edomites, what the enemies of Israel completely overlook is that there will be an eventual reaping of what they have sowed. Obadiah 15 to 16 reads: “For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; as you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head. For as you drank on my holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually. Yes, they shall drink, and swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been.”

$233,000 In Reparations To Each Black Californian - At A Cost Of Half A Trillion Dollars
By Bruce Thornton: California governor Gavin Newsom has announced he plans to give $233,000 in reparations to each black Californian, at a cost of half a trillion dollars. This taxpayer-funded largess comes on the heels of California’s projected $25 billion budget deficit, with state revenue now 41% below expectations due in part to lost tax-revenues from rich residents––who pay half of state income taxes–– fleeing California’s 13.3%, the nation’s highest rate, on incomes over a million dollars.
Such fiscal fecklessness has long been a tradition in California. The reparation scheme, however, would be an irresponsible expenditure given the numerous other spending on progressive pet projects such as free kindergarten for 4-year-olds, stipends for transsexuals, and free health care for immigrants legal or illegal. And don’t forget the $1.5 trillion in public pension debt, and the white-elephant high-speed rail project that has already cost $105 billion since 2010, with completion nowhere in sight. Meanwhile, an ongoing water crisis, crumbling highways, mismanaged forests fueling wildfires, and a vulnerable electrical grid remain neglected.
