By Erick Stakelbeck: Over the past few days, a literal genocide has taken place in Syria. You may not have heard about it in the mainstream media, but Islamic jihadists have slaughtered over 1,000 (17,000 now reported dead or missing) people—including hundreds (reported thousands) of Christians.
These terrorists, who are an offshoot of Al Qaeda and now control the Syrian government, have rounded up and slaughtered entire families in northwestern Syria. They are specifically targeting religious minorities, and Syria’s ancient Christian community is among those in their crosshairs.
These jihadis overthrew Bashar al-Assad and seized power in Syria back in December. Their leader, Mohammad al-Julani, has made quite a show of wearing a suit and tie and declaring that he’s now “moderate.” He’s even using a new name, Ahmed al-Sharaa.
European governments have been all too willing to go along with the charade, and now, al-Julani has revealed his true face. His shock troops have spent the past few days gleefully murdering and maiming civilians.

Coalition MKs To U.S. Senate: “Recognize The Right Of The Jewish People To The Temple Mount”
By Staff Writer: In a letter they sent to members of the US Senate at the initiative of Beyadenu – Returning to the Temple and ‘Shofar in Zion,’ Ministers Shlomo Karhi and Miki Zohar and several MKs from the Likud, Religious Zionism, and Otzma Yehudit factions called on them: “Official recognition on your part can ensure historical justice.”
Right-wing Ministers and MKs addressed a letter today (Monday) to members of the US Senate, calling on them to promote a declaration in Congress to “recognize the eternal and inalienable right of the Jewish people to the Temple Mount.”
The letter was signed by Minister of Communications Shlomo Karhi and Minister of Culture and Sports Miki Zohar from the Likud and several MKs from the Likud, Religious Zionism, and Otzma Yehudit factions. “This is the place where our Temples stood, which were destroyed by the Babylonian and Roman empires about 2,500 and 1,900 years ago,” it said.
The initiative is being led by a group of temple activists led by Beyadenu – Returning to the Temple, following the victory of Donald Trump and the Republicans in the US elections.
