Everywhere you look, there is end times turmoil, and no place is more tempestuous at the moment than the Middle East. So it is under a dark and foreboding cloud that Donald Trump is preparing to go first to Saudi Arabia, then Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. What’s on the agenda? Money, trillions of dollars, and it has already begun to flow like water. Terror sponsor Qatar is ‘gifting’ a Boeing 747-8 Super Liner dubbed the ‘flying palace’ to President Trump personally, and the president has already said repeatedly that he graciously accepts it. At the least, it smacks of a bribe, and at its worst a Trojan horse. Only a fool would walk through that door, and that’s the memo.

Another 4,744 Christians were arrested or illegally detained, and 7,679 churches and other Christian institutions were attacked, often destroyed.
Overall, the global persecution of Christians has reached unprecedented levels. "More than 380m Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith," according to the World Watch List 2025 (WWL) published earlier this year by the international human rights organization, Open Doors.
Every year, the WWL ranks the top 50 nations in which Christians are the most persecuted for their faith. The data is compiled by thousands of grassroots workers and external experts. The latest edition of the WWL covers October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024.
According to the WWL, around the world, one in seven Christians (14%) is persecuted. In Africa, that number grows to one in five (20%). In Asia, it is a shocking two in five -- meaning 40% of all Christians there are persecuted.
The list categorizes three levels of persecution: "extreme", "very high" and "high."

One rabbi emphasized that this is a part of the Final Redemption in which God uses nature, fire, and water to purify Man for the Messianic Era.
The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and led by Tina Dura, assistant professor of geosciences at Virginia Tech, highlighted the potential for a major earthquake in the Cascadia subduction zone that could cause coastal land to sink by as much as 6.5 feet. Dura’s team generated numerous earthquake models to estimate the range of potential land sinking from a future Cascadia earthquake. They then used geospatial analysis to quantify the expansion of the floodplain at 24 estuaries and communities along the subduction zone.
The models considered the impacts of an earthquake today and in the year 2100. The study noted that most earthquakes that strike the Cascadia subduction zone go unnoticed because it is 70 to 100 miles offshore. But the zone is capable of generating monstrous tremors. According to Oregon State University, there is a 37% chance of an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 or larger in the next 50 years. Tremors of at least magnitude 8.0 are sometimes called “megaquakes.”
