Your King James Bible Tells You That God Was Manifest In The Flesh As Jesus Christ, A Precious Truth Snuffed Out In Nearly All The Modern Versions

There is a verse in 1 Timothy 3 in your King James Bible that is one of the most-powerful verses anywhere in either Testament showing you the deity of Jesus Christ in clear and precises terms. This verse tells us that “God was manifest in the flesh”, that is to say that God the Father put Himself inside a human body to make Himself open and visible. Paul declares this clarion truth to us, and nearly every one of the modern versions take that truth and erase it from the passage like it was never there.
Of course, this is the teaching of the Bible, giving you written proof that God prepared Himself a body in order to come into this world as the sinless Saviour. Isaiah show us God the Father, born into this world as a baby, who grows to be the Saviour of mankind and the King of the world. We see these verses so often at “Christmas” that they become stripped of their prophetic power and meaning, reduced to being used as fodder for greeting cards.
Jesus Christ is not a “second God”, he is the Father in human form, that’s exactly Who He is. It is the Roman Catholics who tell you about “God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost”, but the Bible doesn’t say any such thing. The Bible says that it is God – Father, Son and Spirit – in one body, Paul calls this the Godhead, and so it is. So why would all the “easier to read” modern versions want to prevent you from receiving and understanding this clear and precious truth about God? It’s an attack on the deity of Jesus Christ which they all love to do. With that in mind, let’s do a quick comparison between the King James and the modern versions.

‘Side B’ Is Another Insidious Attack On The Authority Of Scripture, And It’s Likely Coming To A Church Near You

The Bible commands us to “take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness,” which, in context, include sexual immorality—and yet many in the church are bending over backward to find creative ways to accommodate sexual immorality to “lower the entry bar” for unbelievers or the discipleship hardships for professing believers, especially those who identity as LGBTQ. And one of those “creative” methods for skirting biblical teaching is what’s known as “Side B Christianity, which may at first glance seem compassionate and just another way to encourage sinners to “come as you are,” but remember that Jesus invites all to come as they are—but he never calls them to stay as they are.
A recent op-ed [from Daren Mehl, President of Voice of the Voiceless], uses a definition of “Side B” from late pastor Dr. Tim Keller—who certainly didn’t take Genesis 1 literally as AiG does—in a refutation of this ideology:

By Elie Mischel: “I’m a rabbi,” proclaims Rick Jacobs in his shameful Washington Post hit piece against Israel, as if his credentials as president of the Union for Reform Judaism grant him authority to dictate Jewish values while Israel fights for survival. His recent op-ed attacking Israel’s blockade of Gaza exposes everything wrong with progressive Jewish “leadership” in America – willing to sacrifice Jewish lives on the altar of liberal sensibilities.
Who exactly is Rick Jacobs representing when he demands Israel feed the very people who danced in the streets after October 7th? Not the Bible. Not the people of Israel. And certainly not the hostages still suffering in Hamas tunnels.
The most dangerous lie in this conflict – the lie Jacobs eagerly perpetuates – is the false division between “Hamas terrorists” and “innocent Gazans.” This fantasy collapses under even the most basic scrutiny.
Hamas didn’t fall from the sky. These 40,000+ terrorists were raised, educated, and celebrated in Gaza. They are the sons, brothers, and husbands of the very people Jacobs wants us to feed. When Hamas won 74 of 132 seats in the 2006 Palestinian election, they did so with overwhelming popular support. A December 2023 poll showed 72% of Arabs in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria believed the October 7th massacre was “correct” – with support for Hamas rising after the attack.
What kind of culture produces thousands of men who proudly video themselves raping Jewish teen girls before executing them? What sort of society produces baby killers who burn infant bodies? These aren’t “lone actors” – they are representatives of their people.

It was an intentional administration effort to de-civilize the nation by destroying its borders—as if to return to the premodern era, when there were no clearly defined or secure borders, and nomadic peoples migrated as they pleased. Stranger still, illegal aliens were at times given precedence over citizens—as immigration law was simply discarded. Without IDs, illegal aliens boarded U.S. flights, while the government ordered citizens to obtain more secure “real” IDs. Some 8,500 veteran soldiers were drummed out of the military for refusing the experimental mRNA vaccinations. Yet 10 million simply walked across the southern border into America, without a care from the Biden administration whether they were vaccinated, ill, or had criminal records…. Why is America decivilizing? In part, our mediocre schools have not produced competent stewards to maintain and expand the sophisticated infrastructure and ethos of a prior, far more capable generation. In part, the sheer richness of our inheritance lulled our Lotus-Eater generations to consume what they inherited rather than reinvest it, given that since birth they had been insulated from the elemental and unchanging human and natural challenges to civilization.
