When President Trump had Zelensky visit the White House a while back, it was used as a pretext for Trump and Vance to jump all over him and publicly humiliate him. Trump was praised by some for his very firm handling of a seemingly ungrateful Zelensky. I wonder if President Trump will also be as firm and forthright with Putin when they meet in Alaska on Friday? Huckabee Fires Back On Anti-Israel British Leader: ‘If You Had Been PM Then, The UK Would Be Speaking German’
By Robert Gottselig: The American Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, had strong words for the UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, on Friday after the British leader issued a public condemnation of Israel’s new plan to rid Gaza from the clutches of Hamas.
According to the Jerusalem Post, “Starmer said that the expanded operations ‘will do nothing to bring an end to this conflict,’ adding that it would result in more bloodshed on both sides. He continued to say that what the war needed was ‘a ceasefire, a surge in humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages held by Hamas and a negotiated solution.'”
Huckabee did not allow Starmer’s comment to go unanswered, responding short after: “So Israel is expected to surrender to Hamas and feed them even though Israeli hostages are being starved? Did UK surrender to Nazis and drop food to them? Ever heard of Dresden, PM Starmer? That wasn’t food you dropped. If you had been PM then, the UK would be speaking German!”
The Jerusalem Post reminded readers that the US ambassador “was referencing the US and UK’s bombing of Dresden, during which nearly 7 km of the city was destroyed and at least 25,000 people were killed.” I might add that the Allies saw the Dresden operation as a justified bombing of a strategic target. Dresden was a major rail transport and communication center, housing 110 factories and approximately 50,000 workers—all supporting the German war effort.
The Ambassador further challenged Starmer, saying: “How much food has Starmer and the UK sent to Gaza? The Israeli Prime Minister has already sent 2 MILLION TONS into Gaza, and none of it even getting to hostages. Maybe UK PM ought to sit this one out and follow Arab League, who said Hamas should disarm & release ALL hostages immediately.”
Unfortunately, Canada likewise has aligned itself with the UK and France, with Prime Minister Carney releasing his own shameful statement:...

I know that this sounds really bizarre, but they truly believe that they will ultimately be far smarter, far stronger and live much longer than the rest of us. In fact, there are some wealthy individuals that are now “breeding smarter babies” by using genetic testing services to select embryos with the highest potential intelligence…
Subsequently, those embryos are then screened to select only those with the highest potential.
Yes, I realize that this sounds like the plot to a really bad science fiction movie.
But this is actually happening. Wealthy individuals in Silicon Valley really are paying enormous amounts of money to be paired with others that have “good genes.”...
This isn’t science fiction. It is Silicon Valley, where interest in breeding smarter babies is peaking.The goal of the matchmaking services is to pair highly intelligent individuals together in order to create “genetically optimized” embryos.
Parents here are paying up to $50,000 for new genetic-testing services that include promises to screen embryos for IQ. Tech futurists such as Elon Musk are urging the intellectually gifted to multiply, while professional matchmakers are setting up tech execs with brilliant partners partly to get brilliant offspring.
Subsequently, those embryos are then screened to select only those with the highest potential.

The documentary is “The Road Between Us,” telling the story of retired IDF General and his heroic efforts to save his family. The reason they declined to show the film? Times of Israel explains: Sources close to the film’s production said the festival’s claimed reason for the cancellation was that the filmmakers had not received explicit permission to use videos of the Hamas operatives during the attack, with the festival fearing a potential lawsuit (Times of Israel).
Deadline reports: The filmmaking team behind The Road Between Us tells Deadline: “We are shocked and saddened that a venerable film festival has defied its mission and censored its own programming by refusing this film. Ultimately, film is an art form that stimulates debate from every perspective that can both entertain us and make us uncomfortable. A film festival lays out the feast and the audience decides what they will or won’t see. We are not political filmmakers, nor are we activists; we are storytellers.
