Now The End Begins
As Trump Continues To Navigate The Path To Peace Between Russia And Ukraine, The United States Heads Towards A Military Standoff With Venezuela
By Geoffrey Grider: The United States and Venezuela appear to be heading towards a military standoff with neither country indicating a willingness to back down.
President Donald Trump sees himself in the role of peacemaker, currently attempting to end the war between Russia and Ukraine and bring all parties to the negotiating table. Yesterday, we told you how he said to Fox News that by ending wars he is saving lives, and hopefully doing enough good things to make it to Heaven. A strange statement but there it is. War, on the other hand, is not going away anytime soon, and to that point the United States is right now locked in a rapidly-escalating standoff with dictator Maduro in Venezuela. Read your Bible, to the end wars have been determined, and that’s the memo.
Speaking of Russia, Trump should not get his hopes up too high, Putin will only agree to terms if they benefit him and advance Russia. Putin is playing the long game, he is running a marathon and not a sprint. Trump is running a sprint, looking to check the boxes as quickly as he possibly can, and that’ll never work. While Trump dreams of being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Putin is dreaming of a restarted Soviet Union. Two very different men, two very different goals. (...)

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:7-8 (KJV)

Sitting Ducks For Deception: Pastors,
Have You Properly Equipped Your Congregations With A Biblical Worldview?
Have You Properly Equipped Your Congregations With A Biblical Worldview?
By Ken Ham/Answers In Genesis: Why is it that America has descended into such a mess morally? Why do nearly 28% of Americans identify as nones (no religious affiliation)? Why are 66% of kids raised in Christian homes and churches walking away from the church when they graduate from high school, and most will never return?
In his excellent short book An Introduction to Worldview, Dr. David Closson, director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council, highlights George Barna’s recent research on the church in America. It reveals that only 21% of evangelical Christians and only 37% of pastors have a truly biblical worldview.
What can and should pastors do to counteract these trends? I would encourage pastors who believe Genesis to consider three things.
Teach Your Congregation About Worldview
It is critical that you teach adults and youth in your church what a worldview is. For example, is there a God or not? If so, what is he like, and what is his relationship to the physical universe? What is the universe (an accident or purposefully created, infinite and eternal or not, etc.)? What is man (just an animal, unique from animals, related to God or not, basically good or inherently sinful, etc.)? Is there such a thing as absolute truth? Can we know truth, and if so, how can we know it? Is there right and wrong in an absolute sense, or is all morality a matter of opinion or majority vote?
Biblical Christianity answers these questions one way. The evolutionary view—which dominates our culture and public education and is humanistic and atheistic—answers these questions in a very different way. For the Christian, his or her answers should come from the Bible. Unfortunately, as the studies noted above show, many people in the church live their daily lives unconscious of the fact that they are actually influenced by the evolutionary humanist worldview more than they are by the worldview they profess to believe at church. So we must inform people about what a worldview is and how it affects our decisions and relationships. (...)

Western Leaders Sacrifice Israel For Muslim Support At Home
By Nils Haug/Gatestone Institute: A majority of Western leaders clearly refuse to exercise integrity when it concerns the Palestinian issue. Only leaders completely sold out to extremist ideologies would persist in pushing a proposal so far detached from reality and so harmful to many people -- starting with the atrociously governed Palestinians -- that it is almost beyond comprehension. Perhaps this phenomena is best described as a "cognitive bias" that can "lead to a person interpreting all new information as supporting their preconception."
Connected to fatuous ideals of utopianism -- especially to the dangerously mushrooming number of extremist Muslims on their shores -- is these leaders' pandering to prospective voters to ensure re-election. In so doing, they not only damage their society, culture and values, but race towards the rapid demise of Western civilization in favor of an Islamist Caliphate under Sharia law. In the UK, for instance, according to Stephen Pollard, "Open Jew hate is now the norm." How the mighty have fallen.
On July 24, President Emmanuel Macron of France announced that "Paris would formally recognize a Palestinian state in September at the UN General Assembly." A week later, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a similar announcement, and on August 11, Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined the scrimmage.
Hamas, needless to say, was delighted. (...)

Communities Unite To Strengthen Grieving Families As Israel Remembers Victims Of October 7 Kidnapping Horror
By Adi Nirman: Tuesday marked the grim Hebrew anniversary of the execution of six Israeli hostages – Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Carmel Gat, Almog Sarusi, and Alexander Lobanov – by Hamas terrorists in a tunnel in Gaza. Memorial services were held throughout Israel in their memory, attended by many who came to strengthen the families who lost their loved ones kidnapped by Hamas in the deadly attack on Israel on October 7.
During the Jerusalem service held for Hersh, his father, Jon, said in his son's memory, "A few weeks ago, I was walking with Libby [his daughter] here in Jerusalem. A nice man I didn't know approached me and asked me, 'Hersh's father, can I show you something?' I immediately agreed, and he showed me his phone with his screensaver showing you, Hersh. He told me that 'every morning I take out my phone and the first thing I see is Hersh.' I looked at him and asked myself what I could do today to make the world better, to be a better person. Hersh, what a glorious legacy you left."
Rachel, Hersh's mother, added, "Sometimes I look deep into my own eyes. I force myself to open them, against my will, and then I can hear you. I know you're here, inside," she said while placing her hand on her chest. "Even though I can't see you with my eyes that are actually yours, that are mine, I know it. Like two great oceans that I can't always see, but undoubtedly they're there. I know it's there even without seeing it. You are inside me, and here, in my heart." (...)
