By Claude Stauffer: How do you feel when those who enter our country illegally riot and cause mayhem while waving the flag of their home country? Don’t you think, “If you hate our country so much, why not just return to your own?” There’s something inherently wrong, offensive, ungracious, and definitely unthankful about people who do such things. It’s like someone barging into your home uninvited who then proceeds to jump on the furniture, set fire to the couch, all while complaining you haven’t cooked their next meal fast enough and to their liking. What would you do in such a situation?
The second greatest commandment, according to Jesus, is to love our neighbor as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). We are to love God supremely and others sacrificially. Jesus even went so far as to say we should love our enemies! (Matthew 5:43-48). Jesus said, “Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it for Me” (Matthew 25:40). Shouldn’t we care for people regardless of how they enter our nation? There are people who enter our country illegally seeking a better life for themselves and their family. We see that and we’re tempted to cast a compassionate eye their way, even look the other way, and condone their actions by doing nothing. Is it wrong to have borders, or limit immigration, or have requirements for people to enter our nation? Are borders wrong?
The Bible states: “‘And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 19:33–34).
Does that verse support an open-door-no-borders worldview? Well, no. The word “stranger” (Hebrew ger) means: a guest, foreigner, sojourner, traveler, stranger. A “stranger,” therefore, is not someone who enters the land and forces their presence on people requiring their support to live. A “stranger” here is one passing through, a guest in the land on a temporary basis. We are most definitely to be hospitable to people, but are under no compulsion or without recourse if they overstay their welcome or begin to act disruptively....

Abram became Abraham--"father of many"--only after God made him the father of nations. Jacob became Israel after wrestling with the divine. And Jesus, Yeshua, means "the Lord saves." In Scripture, names shape identity, reflect character, and carry generational weight.
So yes--names matter.
That's why the sharp rise in the name Yahya in Britain is not just a cultural curiosity. It's a warning sign. And a deeply unsettling one.
This past year, 583 baby boys in the UK were named Yahya. But Yahya is not just any name. It's the name of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader and mastermind behind the worst mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust. A man who orchestrated the rape, torture, and burning of Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023.
And just months after this horror, his name soared 33 places on the UK's baby name list. It's now the 93rd most popular boys' name in the country.
Coincidence? Perhaps. But the timing is impossible to ignore....
So yes--names matter.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: A recent surge in deadly infections, including flesh-eating bacteria along the Gulf Coast and a rare case of pneumonic plague in Arizona, has drawn eerie comparisons to the biblical plagues of Egypt and prophetic descriptions of the end-of-days War of Gog and Magog. Some Jewish scholars and rabbis see these unusual outbreaks not merely as medical anomalies, but as divine wake-up calls, echoing prophetic visions from Zechariah and Exodus about flesh decaying mid-stance and boils afflicting man and beast, harbingers, they warn, of a fast-approaching Messianic era.
A concerning rise in cases of Vibrio vulnificus—a rare but potentially deadly bacterium often referred to as “flesh-eating”—has prompted health warnings across Gulf Coast states, particularly Louisiana and Florida.
So far in 2025, at least eight people have died and 22 others have been infected by the bacteria, which thrives in warm coastal waters. The Louisiana Department of Health reported 17 confirmed cases this year, all requiring hospitalization, and four resulting in death. That’s more than double the average annual number of infections in the state over the past decade.
“This represents a higher number of Vibrio vulnificus cases and deaths than are typically reported,” the Louisiana health department noted in an official advisory. Historically, the state has seen around seven cases and one death during the same timeframe.
Florida officials have also raised alarms. As of July 24, the Florida Department of Health confirmed 13 cases in 2025, with four deaths. Public health agencies across the Gulf are urging residents and visitors to take precautions, particularly those with underlying health conditions....

By Michael Snyder: Will construction of the Third Temple soon begin? What I am going to share in this article is truly shocking. For years, the Temple Institute has been preparing for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, and now it appears that they believe that the time has come. Needless to say, any effort to rebuild the Temple would create a firestorm of controversy all over the globe. But there is clearly a tremendous amount of momentum inside Israel to allow construction to commence, and someone has been putting up road signs that literally point people in the direction of the coming Temple…
But the fact that they are going up and are not immediately being taken down is certainly making a statement....
The buzz surrounding the idea of a ‘Third Temple’ seems to have gone up a notch. Unofficial road signs are appearing, directing people to “The House of the Lord.” They may be made by rogue sign makers in a guerilla operation, but their very existence signifies that something major is brewing.I want to stress that the Israeli government is not putting up these signs.
Never far from the minds of many Orthodox Jews, the reconstruction of the Temple is something promised in scripture several times in both the Old and New Testaments. What was once dismissed as the pipe dream of fringe radicals is now beginning to crystallize into a tangible possibility within our lifetime – especially amid current discussions of previously unimaginable peace agreements.
But the fact that they are going up and are not immediately being taken down is certainly making a statement....
