Europe is holding it’s breath right now, and so is NATO, as together they watch a very energized Russia getting ready for their anti-West war games held every four years known as Zapad. Putin sent up a trial balloon earlier this week by launching a fleet of drones over Poland which, of course, were shot down by the Polish army. Russia is threatening war, and Europe believes him. Wars and rumours of wars everywhere you look, welcome to Zapad 2025 that starts today. That’s the memo.

His goal has always been to use the conflict with Ukraine as the bait on the hook to lure NATO into WWIII. While all the other nations, including the United States, plays the ‘short game’, reacting to every nuance, Putin is playing the steely-cold long game, and it is serving him well. If you have ever studied WWI and WWII from a biblical perspective, then you know why WWIII must come. The word ‘Zapad’ means ‘West’, as in the western nations of Europe and the United States. So the ‘Zapad 2025 War Games’ is preparation for war against the West. This is what Russia and Belarus are preparing for, and it’s right in front of your face, clear as day. WWIII is right around the corner.

Department Of Justice Intervenes In Brutal Charlotte Stabbing Case

McCarthy/The Washington Stand: After the slaughter of a Ukrainian woman aboard a North Carolina commuter train made national headlines and captured the attention of the White House, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is filing federal criminal charges against the killer. On August 22, 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska was stabbed to death aboard a light rail train car by a man authorities have identified as DeCarlos Dejuan Brown, Jr., a 34-year-old black man. Video footage of the murder went viral over social media, with mainstream news media later covering the story.
The DOJ announced on Tuesday that Brown will be prosecuted at the federal level and has been charged with one count of committing an act causing death on a mass transportation system. “I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder. We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence — he will never again see the light of day as a free man,” Attorney General Pam Bondi announced in a statement. Brown had previously been arrested 14 times for various crimes, including assaulting a woman, and had served several years in prison for robbery with a deadly weapon, breaking and entering, and other offenses. Pointing to Brown’s lengthy rap sheet, Bondi observed, “Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream — her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people.”
“This brutal attack on an innocent woman simply trying to get to her destination is an attack on the American way of life,” declared U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina Russ Ferguson. “Of course, crimes like this affect the victim the most — Iryna deserves justice, and we will bring justice to her and her family,” he observed. “But crimes like this also affect everyone who relies on mass transportation to get to and from work and go about their daily lives, and federal charges are necessary to protect the public and ensure confidence in our transportation systems.”

This is not just demographic drift. It is a civilizational transformation--and it is accelerating.
Already, Muslims comprise about 10% of France's population. By 2050, that figure is expected to reach nearly 17%. That percentage may sound small, but in politics, it is enough to dominate elections and shape national policy. In Paris, Marseille, and Lyon, entire districts have been overtaken by Islamist influence. Police hesitate to enter. French law is mocked. Local councils are controlled by Muslim blocs that prioritize their own religious and political agendas. The France of liberté, égalité, fraternité is becoming a relic, a memory, a Wikipedia entry.

Meanwhile, mosques overflow with tens of thousands of faithful, spilling into the streets for Friday prayers. Anyone who mentioned it was an islamophobe and smeared and destroyed. And it led us here. Now, on top of everything, we have a jihadi on the cusp of being elected mayor of this once great city.
Today is a dark day. A day of mourning on so many levels. I am bereft.

Why? Because Charlie wasn’t a radical, he wasn’t a firebrand, he wasn’t a bomb thrower… No, Charlie was—in a relative sense—a lamb. And now, that lamb has been slaughtered.
While Charlie was a brilliant speaker, his true genius was his willingness to engage almost anyone and do so on their terms, using their own words. We’ve all seen videos of Charlie sitting at a table or standing on a podium at some random college, engaging with students or activists. Typically, Charlie would allow the students to ask questions or make an argument and then respond accordingly. Usually quite brilliantly, always politely.
In all honesty, I sometimes felt bad for his interlocutors, who were often young and brainwashed and had to stand and have their arguments dismantled in front of their peers. While it may have done them some good in the long run, for that moment, it almost certainly didn’t feel like it.
Charlie was easily one of the bravest men on America’s political and cultural battlefield. Why? Because he made it his stock in trade regularly to go into the lion’s den, armed only with a microphone and a brilliant mind for defense. And when I say lion’s den, I mean academia, where the left has been minting young communists for half a century.
