The USSF described its plans to defend US space capabilities and maintain the Joint Force’s “long-range kill chains and global power projection” to achieve short, mid, and long-term “space-superiority,” in a manual published for experts in the military community Thursday. Offensive counterspace operations include orbital strikes, terrestrial strikes, and space link interdictions — which include electromagnetic and cybernetwork attacks carried out to “disrupt, deny, or degrade an enemy’s critical space links.”

By Tony Perkins: This week, in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, many are asking whether incendiary words are fueling violent deeds. A recent Reuters poll found roughly two in three Americans believe harsh political rhetoric encourages violence. And when U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said on a podcast that the Trump administration would target “hate speech,” the backlash from conservatives was swift; she later clarified that any focus must be on true threats of violence, not the nebulous catch-all of “hate speech.”
But is speech the core problem? Jesus taught, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). Words reveal what is inside; they do not create it. If the heart is diseased, our discourse will be too.
Our descent into violence did not begin with profanity-laced accusations on the floor of Congress. It began when our leaders — and many others — abandoned the founding truth that rights come from God, not government. The Declaration of Independence asserts that we are “endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights.” That conviction restrains government from becoming tyrannical and restrains citizens from taking justice into their own hands. When rights are treated as government-issued rather than God-given, they can be revoked when inconvenient — and trampled by those willing to intimidate.

The Return of the People The Central Bureau of Statistics reports that while much of Israel's growth still comes from births, thousands of new immigrants are coming home every year. In 2024 alone, more than 31,000 Jews returned to Israel. Some came from France, some from the United States, others from Ukraine and Russia. Many arrived with nothing but a suitcase, drawn by an inner pull -- and often pushed by rising antisemitism abroad.
We cannot miss the irony: even in the midst of war, rockets, and fear, Jews are leaving behind the safety of the West to return to their ancient homeland. The world sees risk; God's Word sees fulfillment. For believers in Christ, these movements are not random -- they are reminders that the Bible's prophecies are not dusty relics but living realities.

Speaking from St. Peter’s Square, the pontiff said the Palestinians “continue to live in fear and survive in unacceptable conditions, forced once again to leave their land.”
Looking out at the crowd, Pope Leo declared: “Before God Almighty, who commanded ‘Thou shalt not kill,’ and in the sight of all of human history, every person always has an inviolable dignity, to be respected and upheld.” He stressed that “international humanitarian law” must be observed and again appealed “for a truce, for the freeing of hostages held in Gaza, and for a negotiated diplomatic solution to the conflict.”
