The question everyone is asking at the moment, is what is really going on in Venezuela, and why is President Trump so intent on military action there? Oh, I know, he is there “fighting drug cartels”, but is he really? Does this have to do less with Venezuelan drug cartels and more to do with Russia and possible caches of drones being stored there?
In May 2025, Presidents Vladimir Putin and Nicolás Maduro signed a 10-year strategic cooperation treaty in Moscow, elevating their bilateral alliance. The treaty reportedly expands cooperation across energy, defense, technology, communications, and satellite navigation. The new treaty and legal ratifications mark a formal deepening of the Russia–Venezuela alliance, giving it more structure than past arms deals or ad hoc agreements. President Trump should be honest with the American people, and tell us why he’s really committing US forces there. This smells like regime change to me.

A proposed bill in Virginia would allow a woman to request an abortion up to and through her labor at full gestation if it could be shown the pregnancy impaired her mental or physical health. In New York, a bill was passed that allows a woman to have an abortion on demand up until the time of the child’s birth. As the governor signed this bill into law, lawmakers applauded and cheered. That evening the Empire State Building glowed pink to celebrate this “victory” for women’s rights.
While certain legislators rejoiced, even many abortion supporters were appalled at this legislation, believing it went too far. The idea of killing a baby at full term was too grotesque and abhorrent, even for some who support abortion earlier in the timeline of a pregnancy. When dealing with late-term abortions, the pro-abortion lobby cannot hide behind euphemisms such as blob of cells, tissue, pregnancy, or even the mother’s body. At 40 weeks gestational age, the baby looks unmistakably like a baby.
But what about a baby at fertilization? He or she does not look like a baby and, to our knowledge, cannot feel pain or realize that he or she even exists. That baby is just a single cell. Is it still heinous to end the life of that child? What about a baby at four weeks gestational age? Or six? Or twelve? When does human life really begin?

Globally, the persecution of Christians is getting worse with each passing year, but since the mainstream media mostly ignores what is going on most of us just assume that it really isn’t a big deal. But the truth is that what is being done to our brothers and sisters all over the world is absolutely horrifying.

Children under 18 are constitutionally prohibited from attending church, and adults are only allowed to attend state-controlled churches that are very tightly restricted. Underground churches are very popular, but those that lead those underground churches can be grabbed by the government at any time. In fact, dozens of Chinese pastors were just rounded up.
