Billionaires are digging in—literally—seeming to share a collective sense that the world is headed to an “age of apocalypse.” Some chalk it up to paranoia, others believe they may be onto something. One article referred to it as “Utopias, dystopias, and Star Wars fantasies.”
This week, a BBC headline read: “Tech billionaires seem to be doom prepping. Should we all be worried?”
The article details:
Mark Zuckerberg is said to have started work on Koolau Ranch, his sprawling 1,400-acre compound on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, as far back as 2014. It is set to include a shelter, complete with its own energy and food supplies, though the carpenters and electricians working on the site were banned from talking about it by non-disclosure agreements, according to a report by Wired magazine. ‘Pay To Slay’ Millionaires
By PNW Staff: In the context of the U.S.-brokered Israel-Hamas ceasefire that went into effect last week, Israel has released 250 Palestinian terrorists who were serving at least one life sentence for murder. Of those, 160 are now millionaires thanks to the Palestinian Authority's "pay-for-slay" program, having been paid over 1 million shekels during their imprisonment, according to Palestinian Media Watch.
The 160 released terrorists collectively received at least 229.5 million shekels ($70 million) from the P.A., according to PMW. The other 90 also received a significant sum.
PMW noted that the figure excludes additional stipends for family members, meaning the total payouts were likely far higher.
"The Palestinian Authority ensures that it very much pays to slay," PMW stated.
"Any government that spends hundreds of millions of dollars each year rewarding terrorists should be designated for what it is--a terror organization," PMW founder and director Itamar Marcus told JNS.
"Yet the Palestinian Authority, which openly funds and glorifies terrorists, continues to enjoy international legitimacy and generous Western support," he added.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: Israeli forces operating in southern Gaza came under coordinated Hamas attack on Sunday, marking the most serious challenge yet to a week-old ceasefire that was meant to bring calm to the embattled territory.
The Israel Defense Forces reported that terrorists fired anti-tank missiles and conducted shooting attacks, including rocket-propelled grenades and sniper fire, against soldiers working to destroy terror infrastructure in the Rafah area. The attacks prompted an immediate Israeli military response, with fighter jets conducting airstrikes and artillery units opening fire to neutralize the threat. Israeli Navy vessels also engaged targets along the Rafah coastline.
“Earlier today, terrorists fired anti-tank missiles and carried out shooting attacks toward IDF forces, which were operating to destroy terror infrastructure in the Rafah area in accordance with the terms of the agreement,” the IDF said in a statement.
Unconfirmed reports claim IDF troops were wounded in the attacks.
The severity of the incident prompted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz to leave their weekly Cabinet meeting for an urgent security assessment with military leadership. During the same Cabinet session, the government approved renaming the ongoing campaign the “War of Revival.”

Arabs serve on the Supreme Court, sit in the Knesset, go abroad as diplomats representing Israel. Until recently, the head of Israel’s largest bank, the Bank Leumi, was an Arab. Jews and Arabs work together in offices and factories. Jewish and Arab medical personnel treat Jews and Arabs in the same hospitals. Jews and Arabs play in the same orchestras, and on the same sports teams. Jews and Arabs start businesses together, everything from restaurants to high-tech start-ups. There is only one difference in the treatment of Jews and Arabs in Israel: Jews must, while Arabs may, serve in the military. When makes his outrageous remarks, either his political rivals or journalists should question him at once, prepared to hold his claims up to critical inspection. So far, even as they denounce him for his charges against Israel, including his most outrageous charge, that the IDF is committing “genocide,” they have failed to state exactly why those charges are baseless.
