The election of Zohran Mamdani is unique on many levels, and none of them good. In June 2025, during an interview on the podcast The Bulwark, Mamdani was asked about the slogan “Globalize the Intifada”. Far from condemning it, he was in favor of it, describing it as a symbolic expression of “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.” Considering there are more Jews in New York City than live in Tel Aviv, he’s an interesting choice for mayor, wouldn’t you say?

Then, in July of 2024, he interviewed Country singer John Rich, who accused the Jews of controlling the banks and financing the Scofield Bible through the Rothschild family in Europe.
In September 2024, he followed that with an interview of “historian” Darryl Cooper who believes that Hitler’s death camps were the most humane way to deal with the casualties of World War Two, when he said: “In 1941, they launched a war where they were completely unprepared to deal with the millions and millions of prisoners of war, of local political prisoners….They went in with no plan for that and just threw these people into camps. And millions of people ended up dead there.” Darryl Cooper said that the gas chambers and crematoriums were the only ways to humanely dispose of the millions of dead bodies, and Carlson looked at him like a deer blinded by headlights and appeared to silently agree.
Don’t forget the Palestinian nun he recently interviewed, who used just about every single lie about Israel, Palestine, Christians, and the Bible that she could, and again, Tucker nodded as if in shock from what he had just learned.
Fast forward to late October 2025, and the icing on the cake of Judeophobia landed as Tucker interviewed Hitler-loving-Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes. It received over 5M views in the first week. Fuentes is one of the most venomous antisemites in America. He praises Hitler, saying that he is on “Team Hitler,” denies the Holocaust, supports Hamas, and that is just scratching the surface of his Jew hatred. Tucker Carlson is receiving some pushback from genuine, old-school conservatives, but not enough. For the most part, people are either silent or, worse, endorsing and supporting Tucker Carlson. This must stop, but it won’t if we remain silent and inactive. In the meantime, Tucker Carlson is now the #1 podcast on Spotify. The momentum is terrifying!

By PNW Staff: For centuries, Protestants have stood firm on one simple, unshakable truth: Jesus Christ alone saves. His death and resurrection are fully sufficient for the redemption of the world. No saint, priest, or earthly mediator can add to what Christ finished on the cross.
That's why many evangelicals found it remarkable -- even heartening -- to hear the Vatican finally echo that same truth this week. In a new doctrinal decree approved by Pope Leo XIV, the Vatican officially instructed Catholics not to refer to Mary as the "co-redeemer" of humanity. "Jesus alone saved the world," the declaration said, settling a long internal debate that had divided Catholic theologians and even past popes for decades.
To Protestant ears, that sounds like a long-overdue echo of the Gospel itself: Christ alone -- not Christ plus anyone else -- brings salvation.
A Welcome Step Toward Truth
It would be wrong not to welcome this as a positive step. For years, Protestants have watched with concern as Marian devotion within Catholicism drifted from reverence into something resembling worship. From "Hail Marys" recited in confessionals to shrines and pilgrimages built in her honor, Mary's image has at times overshadowed the very Son she bore.
Now, at least officially, Rome has clarified that she is not the world's co-redeemer. That is no small statement. In theological terms, it's a reaffirmation of one of the foundational truths of the Reformation -- solus Christus, "Christ alone."
The Vatican's declaration even warns against language that "obscures Christ's unique salvific mediation." For Protestants, that's a sentence straight from the heart of Scripture: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
If this statement truly reshapes Catholic teaching and practice, it could mark one of the most significant doctrinal corrections in modern Catholic history.

However, the Christian world is not immune to the current epidemic of misinformation.
While my school, Oral Roberts University, has maintained a largely pro-Israel campus with students who are unafraid of having tough but honest conversations about what’s happening in the Middle East, Christian communities across the country have struggled to maintain healthy discourse.
Why have so many young Christians adopted unfounded beliefs when there are so many factual and religious reasons backing Zionism? One major explanation I’ve observed is that more than a few prominent institutions and thought leaders have been manipulating our shared religious identity to make outright falsehoods about Israel seem morally acceptable. People like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson who rant about Israel wield great influence over millions in the Christian community and have effectively fueled a movement against the only country in the region that actually protects its Christian citizens.
Candace said, “Israel has been a terrorist state…Israel right now is imparting… a holocaust on the Gazan people.” She has previously shared she thinks Zionists are demon worshipers. She distorts “Zionism,” portraying it as some demonic force, rather than as the right for Jews to live in their country peaceably and defend themselves from terrorists as any other nation would. She repeatedly accuses Israel of committing genocide, even while more aid has flowed into Gaza than any other wartorn region. Even the UN admitted that “…it had secured Israeli approval for 190,000 tonnes of food, shelter items, medicine and other supplies to enter the Strip, 20,000 more than previously agreed.”
But Candace doesn’t quite have the reach of Tucker, who recently interviewed an American nun affiliated with the Russian Orthodox Church with the St. Nicholas Convent named Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos. They unfortunately spent the entire interview not only pushing outright lies about Israel’s treatment of Christians in the region but attacking Christian Zionism as a movement.
