Synopsis: Dalton Windsor manned the controls as he stepped in for Jim Schneider on this edition of the “Round-Up.” Here’s a selection of stories he looked at from the past week:

Republicans lost every major contest in Tuesday night’s election as it was a “clean sweep” for Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey while Zohran Mamdani became the next mayor of New York City.

California voters approve Proposition 50, allowing the state to circumvent the independent redistricting process.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune expects Republicans to be laser-focused on affordability issues ahead of the 2026 mid-term elections.

The election of Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York is not necessarily bad news if you’re a real estate agent in states like Florida, as interest in new homes in that state is already exploding due to his election win.

In the Senate, bipartisan negotiations to reopen the government appear to be making limited progress.

A federal judge in Rhode Island says that the Trump administration must fully cover food stamp benefits for tens of millions of Americans in November.

More than 1,000 flights across the nation were canceled as the Federal Aviation Administration and airlines looked to deal with staffing shortages exacerbated by the ongoing shutdown.

According to a new report, American military planners have drawn up a list of targets to be attacked in Venezuela as soon as the president gives the order.

Russia wants to provide hypersonic missiles to Venezuela amid their frayed relations with the U.S.

There’s No Room In The GOP For
Jew Haters Or Anti-Christians

By Todd Starnes Press: We’ve got an infestation of anti-Semitism and Jew hatred within the ranks of the America First movement. And it simply cannot and must not be allowed to take root.

Over the past two years, conservatives loudly condemned the anti-Semitism that reared its ugly head on university campuses. And we must be just as loud now that it is happening within our own ranks.

Much of the blame is being cast upon Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes. I’ve known Tucker for years. I do not know Fuentes. I do not know the hearts of these men. All we can judge them by are their words. And there are plenty of words.

Tucker recently condemned what he called Christian Zionism and said it was heresy and a brain virus. He called out Ambassador Mike Huckabee and said he despised the former Baptist minister and others who believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people.

“How do you explain Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz and they’re a lot like that, John Bolton,” Carlson said. “I mean, I’ve known them all. George W. Bush, Karl Rove. I mean, all people I know personally who I’ve seen be seized by this brain virus. And they’re not Jewish. Most of them are self-described Christians.”

“And then the Christian Zionists who are, well, Christian Zionists,” he added. “What is that? Right. I can just say for myself, I dislike them more than anybody, because it’s Christian heresy. And I’m offended by that as a Christian, that’s why.”

For the record – I, too, believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people. I also believe God’s declaration in Genesis 12:3 – “I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you.”

Carlson made that comment during an interview he conducted with Nick Fuentes – a man who says he admires Hitler and Joseph Stalin.

The Next Generation Of Christian Women
Are Being Radicalized Into Leftists

By Sarah Holliday/Washington Stand: Tuesday's election results -- particularly in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia -- revealed an overwhelming inclination toward Democratic candidates. Word on the street is that young women are to blame.

The exit polls speak for themselves: 81% of young female voters, ages 18 to 29, supported Abigail Spanberger, Virginia's Democratic nominee for governor. In New Jersey, 81% voted for the newly elected Democratic governor, Mikie Sherrill. New York City's newly elected mayor, the Democratic socialist Muslim Zohran Mamdani, was backed by 84% of Gen Z female voters. The Daily Caller emphasized "that these numbers include young women of all races."

In addition, there's another trend being highlighted in this leftist shift among young women, which is in direct contrast to the right-leaning shift among young men. Some studies from the last couple of years showed a range of 25 to 50-point gaps between women being "more liberal than their male contemporaries" -- studies that took place in the U.S., Germany, the U.K., and South Korea. Even in these most recent elections, using Mamdani again as an example, "the only demographic to vote against him" were white men.

And while the political dialogue has long been focused on what ails men -- "porn, video games, unmade beds, laziness, loneliness, alienation, radicalization," as the Caller pointed out -- there's a growing interest in wanting to bring women to the forefront. Why are they increasingly shifting left -- and socialist? How might this impact the future of America? Definitive answers appear to be lacking, but there's been a fair share of speculation.

UN Dismisses Israeli Evidence As Hamas Infiltration Of UNRWA Is Documented

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: Israel has repeatedly presented detailed intelligence showing that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is not simply operating alongside Hamas in Gaza, but is structurally intertwined with it—through its schools, its payroll, its senior staff, and even among employees who took part in the October 7 massacre. Despite these findings, the United Nations continues to dismiss or minimize the evidence, relying on internal reviews that frame Hamas infiltration as either unproven or unavoidable, while UNRWA remains positioned to resume a central role in Gaza aid distribution.

A recent investigation by the Washington Free Beacon revealed that a confidential U.N. report reviewed by its reporters acknowledged that Israeli intelligence linking UNRWA staff to Hamas was likely authentic. Despite this, the U.N. Office of Internal Oversight Services declined to dismiss ten of the nineteen UNRWA employees Israel identified as involved in the attack, including an alleged Hamas platoon commander. The U.N. report was not released publicly, and the U.N. has cited its own conclusions to insist that claims of widespread UNRWA-Hamas collaboration lack substantiation.

Israeli intelligence records paint a sharply different picture. According to Israel, at least 1,462 of UNRWA’s 12,521 employees in Gaza—roughly 12 percent—are members of Hamas or other designated terrorist organizations. Israel has identified at least 18 UNRWA employees who actively participated in the October 7 assault. Out of 546 principals and deputy principals in UNRWA schools, 80 were found to be members of terrorist groups. Israeli officials further identified 75 UNRWA employees as part of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing. In some cases, UNRWA school buildings were used to conceal tunnels, weapons depots, and command centers.

The Free Beacon report shows how this intelligence was set aside. In one case, Israeli phone intercepts recorded an UNRWA employee helping his son infiltrate Israel and take part in the kidnapping of an Israeli woman. The U.N. report acknowledged the authenticity of the recording but dismissed it, characterizing the father’s involvement as an expression of “parental outrage.”

 No Republican Should
Support Sharia In America

But Is It A Red Line For All Conservatives?

By Daniel Greenfield: There are red lines in the conservative movement and over the past few weeks we’ve been having a vigorous debate about what some of those red lines should be. Here’s one red line that’s gone unmentioned. Sharia Islamic law.

Sharia mandates the inferiority of Christians, Jews and other non-Muslims to members of the Muslim master race, it mandates the inferiority of women and eliminates any notion of human freedom.

So is it a red line for all conservatives?

Paul Dans, currently being promoted for the Georgia Senate in a primary race against Sen. Lindsey Graham by Tucker Carlson, previously went on Al Jazeera (of all places) where he was interviewed by Marc Lamont Hill. A former CNN contributor, Hill had been ousted as being too extreme for CNN after he justified the kidnapping and murder of three Israel teens. (That was a while back and today that would be a point in his favor at CNN.)

Dans had been the director of Project 2025, the ill-fated Heritage proposal disavowed by Trump, (which also led to Heritage being sidelined within the Trump administration after Kevin Roberts bragged about it publicly). Project 2025 had good and bad parts to it, but talking about it was a sure way to undermine the Trump administration.

 Mamdani ‘Accountable’ To
Radical Terror-Tied Extremists, Groups

By Pamela Geller: In his victory speech Mamdani said he built a coalition for “Yemini bodega owners, Mexican abuelas, Senegalese taxi drivers, Uzbek nurses, Trinidad line-cooks and Ethiopian aunties.” What about some Americans, Zohran?!

Not being a real American himself Mamdani wouldn’t know what real Americans look like even if some of them tried to run him over while enjoying one of his free bus rides on their way to buying groceries at an empty city-run supermarket.

Every aspect of life in NYC is about to swiftly deteriorate in the most dangerous way from public safety to religious intolerance. Islam has gained a major foothold in its jihad against America. Read on to see what a real “basket of deplorables” looks like.
