By Answers In Genesis: Recent scientific studies claim that some people are born gay. Could this be?
Many Christian parents have asked me this question. They are struggling with a child who has recently “come out” and are trying to grapple with this new reality. These parents have lovingly taught their children the Bible, taken them to church all their young lives, and can’t understand how their children could possibly choose this sinful sexual behavior. They think biology may help explain what they are wrestling to explain any other way. So can it? And if biology can explain it, is homosexual behavior still sinful if God made them that way?
An ‘Evolutionary’ Dead End
From a secular evolutionary perspective, it really wouldn’t make any sense for homosexuality to have a biological basis. One of the major tenets of evolution is reproduction and passing on one’s genes to the next generation. As one author put it, “The existence of homosexuality amounts to a profound evolutionary mystery, since failing to pass on your genes means that your genetic fitness is a resounding zero.”
And if homosexual behavior has a genetic component, how could it even be passed on to future generations? In many ways, it’s an evolutionary dead end. Some evolutionists have tried to explain it with the idea of kin selection. Even though homosexuals won’t pass on their genes, they help raise nieces and nephews who will have some of their genetic information. However, studies have shown no difference in how homosexual and heterosexual individuals treat their close relations, so this work-around seems to fall short.

By Jon Brown/Washington Stand: Theologian Al Mohler condemned Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear's (D) recent use of the Bible on "The View," presumably to explain why he vetoed legislation banning transgender procedures for minors, and warned that theological liberalism has become a rival religion to biblical Christianity.
"These days, it's hard to be astounded by something absolutely ridiculous, or worse, coming from an officeholder when it comes to political office," Mohler, the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, said in a Monday X post.
"And frankly, if you're coming up with a catalog of stupid things said on programs like ABC's 'The View,' you'd better get ready for a very long list. But I don't care how long your list is, this one's going to rank at the top of stupid."
Mohler went on to show a clip of Beshear's Monday appearance on "The View," where the governor claimed his actions in office are driven by his Christian faith. "Most of the decisions I make are based on that Golden Rule that says we love our neighbor as yourself, and that parable [of] the Good Samaritan that says everyone is our neighbor," he said.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: The White House Religious Liberty Commission held a hearing on antisemitism on Monday in Washington. What unfolded was a bitter irony: a meeting designed to combat Jew-hatred became a platform for it, as one commissioner wearing what appeared to be a Palestinian flag pin spent the session attacking Jewish witnesses for supporting Israel.
Carrie Prejean Boller, a Catholic conservative activist and former Miss California, transformed what should have been a forum for Jewish Americans to testify about their experiences with antisemitism into an interrogation. After former UCLA law student Yitzy Frankel, Yeshiva University President Ari Berman, Harvard alum Shabbos Kestenbaum, and former Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl described facing hatred following the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attacks, Prejean Boller revealed she had been tallying their words.
“Since we’ve mentioned Israel a total of 17 times, are you willing to condemn what Israel has done in Gaza?” she demanded of the Jewish witnesses. “You won’t condemn that? Just on the record.”
The absurdity was unmistakable. Jewish Americans invited to testify about antisemitism were being hectored to denounce the Jewish state as a condition of being heard. Prejean Boller insisted her hostility toward Israel stems from Catholic doctrine. “Catholics do not embrace Zionism, just so you know. So are all Catholics antisemites?” she asked, drawing boos from the audience. “I want to be clear on what the definition of antisemitism is. If I don’t support the political state of Israel, am I an antisemite, yes or no?”

Geller Report
By Pamela Geller: Attorney General Pam Bondi is testifying at a heated House Judiciary. And she came loaded for bear, telling clown-boy Jamie Raskin,“you don’t tell me anything you washed-up loser lawyer. You’re not even a lawyer.”
BONDI: “Here we go with the theatrics!”
RASKIN: “I told you, Attorney General—“
BONDI: “You don’t tell me ANYTHING, you washed up—you’re not even a lawyer!”
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL): When pressed on the legal rationale for deploying National Guard troops to Chicago against the governor’s wishes, Bondi retorted, “I wish you loved Chicago as much as you hate President Trump”.
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA): Bondi engaged in a heated exchange over DOJ independence, telling Schiff he “would have been fired” if he had worked for her due to his role in past impeachment proceedings.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT): Bondi accused him of lying about his military record to win his seat. [...]

By Hugh Fitzgerald: Donald Trump warned Iran to stop killing protesters, or else the regime would face the wrath of the American military. Iran did not stop, and Trump did nothing except to enter into negotiations with the Islamic Republic. Many Iranians who put their faith in Trump’s threats to the regime have been horrified at his failure to act. But President Trump, the Jerusalem Post says in its editorial here Trump can still redeem himself, “Trump has betrayed the Iranian people, but it’s not too late to topple the regime – editorial,” Jerusalem Post, February 4, 2026:
When Iranian protesters took to the streets last month in the deadliest domestic unrest since the 1979 revolution, they carried handwritten signs addressed to US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
They renamed streets after the American president. They filmed video messages pleading for intervention from Washington and Jerusalem. They believed explicit warnings from Trump against killing demonstrators meant something. But they were wrong...

By Hugh Fitzgerald: Ilhan Omar and her husband Tim Mynett, a political consultant and now a businessman as well, have done remarkably well these last few years. When she began her career in Congress in 2019, Omar had a negative net worth, consisting of between $45,000 and $150,000 of credit card and student loan debt. And now, in 2026, she apparently has a net worth of close to $30 million.
She has some ‘splainin to do, especially since she is a Somali from Minnesota, where 98 people, almost all of the fellow Somalis, have been charged with fraud, and so far 60 of them been convicted or pleaded guilty. One of those convicted was Salim Said, co-owner of the Safari Restaurant. In 2020, some of the state’s money was distributed to the Safari Restaurant to provide meals to schoolchildren, but instead was pocketed by Said. Ms. Omar was apparently on good terms with Salim Said; she chose to hold her 2018 congressional victory party at the Safari Restaurant.

By Leo Hohmann: What began nearly a decade ago as a program to track vehicle license plates has evolved into the mass surveillance of all human movement and even our conversations across a wide swath of America.
Flock Safety, a private surveillance company based in Atlanta, deploys its Automated License-Plate Readers as part of a public-private partnership in upwards of 6,000 communities nationwide. With little to no coverage in the mainstream media, Flock’s cameras were “upgraded” in October 2025 with AI-powered Raven Acoustic Sensors capable of picking up human voices.
The system was at first marketed toward the detection of gunshots, but then the speakers became sensitive enough to pick up human conversations, under the guise, of course, of helping police respond to people “under distress.” Yes, it’s always about keeping us safe and we are supposed to just trust them on how our data is used.

Today in Prophecy 02-11-26
Synopsis: In this on-the-road edition of Today in Prophecy Daily News, Pastor Tom examines escalating tensions in the Middle East, including reports that Israel and the U.S. could potentially strike Iran together, while recent statements emphasize continued negotiations. At the same time, troubling reports reveal intensified persecution inside Iran, where believers are being targeted and underground churches exposed—echoing Revelation 12 and the reality that many are overcoming “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.”
The update also addresses China and Russia’s alleged involvement in Iran’s digital crackdowns, growing global rhetoric surrounding Zionism, and the increasing spread of misinformation about Israel and Christians in the region. As lawlessness, deception, and hostility toward Israel intensify, Pastor Tom frames these developments within Bible prophecy, reminding viewers that while global instability rises, the believer’s hope remains anchored in Jesus Christ and the promise of His coming kingdom.
