Here are some fast facts:
1) President Trump will serve as chairman and wield considerable overall control. It will help resolve conflicts globally. He has the sole authority to invite new members and appoint a successor.
2) Global peace seems to be their goal, though they will participate in other global duties as well. The immediate focus of the Board of Peace will be Gaza, though there was no word about Gaza in the charter.
3) A lot of Godless people seem to be in charge, such as Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Tony Blair, and almost 60 more movers and shakers. Most have a worldly view of the world and of “peace.” [...]

Eat well, exercise, avoid cigarettes, stay out of accidents, and you might add a few years. Genes, they insisted, played only a minor role. A new Israeli study published in Science dismantles that assumption and replaces it with a far sharper and far more consequential conclusion: genetics accounts for roughly half of human lifespan. This is not a marginal adjustment. It is a reversal.
The study, led by Ben Shenhar, a doctoral student at the Weizmann Institute of Science, under the supervision of Prof. Uri Alon, reexamined the foundations of longevity research using rigorous mathematical modeling and large twin datasets from Sweden and Denmark. By correcting a fundamental flaw that distorted earlier research, the Israeli team uncovered a genetic signal that had been buried under statistical noise for more than a century.
Earlier twin studies, many based on 19th-century records, estimated genetic influence on lifespan at 20 to 25 percent, with some modern analyses pushing that figure below 10 percent. Those numbers shaped public health thinking, funding priorities, and the widespread assumption that aging is largely random. Shenhar and his colleagues identified the central problem: those historical datasets recorded only age at death, not cause of death. Violent accidents, infectious diseases such as cholera and typhus, and environmental hazards were lumped together with biological aging. This category error flattened the data.
“At the time those twins lived, before antibiotics, extrinsic mortality was about ten times higher than today,” Shenhar explained. “Deaths caused by factors originating outside the body masked the genetic contribution to lifespan.”

By Debra Nussbaum Cohen: The New York City Police Department reported what it said was its safest January for gun violence in recorded history but admitted, at the end of a press release, that antisemitic hate crimes were up 182% in the city in January 2026 compared to January 2025.
Overall, the NYPD hate crimes task force investigated 152% more incidents last month (58) compared to January 2025 (23), including 31 anti-Jewish hate crimes last month compared to 11 in January 2025.
The antisemitic hate crimes “accounted for more than half of all the hate crime incidents in January,” the NYPD stated. About 10% of New Yorkers are estimated to be Jewish.

Most people ascribe her shabby and irrational anti-Semitism to her close association with Tucker Carlson the Svengali of conservative Jew-hatred, but it is difficult to understand why his influence would surpass what should be a deep gratitude to Prager, Shapiro and the DHFC. The closest explanation to which we can come is an old one that often poisons all human relations; we hate those we have wronged.
Posing as a champion of unassailable truth Candace manufactures her lies, libels, slanders and medieval distortions. She grievously wrongs Jewish people across the globe and insults the intelligence of everyone else. She has not only cooperated with evil but also has become evil herself. The rest of us though must keep on rowing as boats against the current.

By Daniel Greenfield: It’s cold in New York City now, but I should emphasize, cold by recent city standards, not by comparison to Chicago, Boston, Minneapolis or anyplace where it actually gets cold, so I’m perfectly comfortable walking the streets of Manhattan in a relatively light puffer jacket that would be sudden death in any place truly cold. This isn’t a harsh blizzard where people stumble around and die walking down the streets, but it’s colder than usual (NYC winters have been light in past years) and the expanding population of junkies and mentally ill addicts hanging out on the street are at risk of going to sleep and never waking up again.

Zohran Mamdani, who leveraged a predatory saturnine grin and the graphic arts squad to take over the city, has no idea of how to deal with it and is being lambasted by outgoing Mayor Eric Adams (who is running a better campaign out of office than Andrew Cuomo did while running for office) for dropping the policy of pushing homeless vagrants into shelters ahead of cold freezes instead of letting them stay in encampments.
