Harbinger’s Daily
By Jim Showers: For 4,000 years, Israel has been surrounded by those who hate it. Even after God scattered the Jewish people among the nations, hatred of them never abated.
Perhaps that is because God’s enemies are Israel’s enemies—and God has many enemies (Ps. 83; cf. Jas. 4:4). Israel is the only nation in the world aligned through covenants with the one true God of the universe. Being God’s agent to reveal His Word, bring His salvation to the world, and bless the world makes it a target of those who rebel against the Almighty. Today, we see hatred for Israel playing out on a global scale as the nations of the world rise in opposition to the Jewish people.
So, in this universal context of hatred, how was modern Israel ever born? The simple answer is God, but how He brought the event about is not so simple.
The End Of An Empire
Entering the 20th century, the region that included Israel was commonly referred to as Palestine (a title the Romans gave to spite the Jewish people in the 2nd century AD) and was controlled by the Ottoman Turkish Empire. Most of the land was owned by the government and a few wealthy absentee landlords, not by the inhabitants.
Although a remnant of Jewish people have always lived in the land, Jews in Eastern Europe began returning to Palestine in significant numbers in the late 1800s. Driven by antisemitic violence and forced settlements in Russia, many fled to their ancient homeland. An estimated 50,000 Jewish people lived in Palestine in 1900, under Ottoman rule.
As the Lord promised, He used persecution to drive His people back to the land He promised them, where they purchased property at exorbitant prices from the Ottomans, whose empire was in severe decline. By the early 1920s, the Jewish population had grown to around 85,000 and more than doubled by 1930, creating a growing momentum for a Jewish state. What began as the Zionist movement in the 1890s under the leadership of Theodor Herzl was gaining traction through key events orchestrated by God.

Prophecy News Watch
By PNW Staff: Meta's reported development of an AI version of its founder Mark Zuckerberg has reignited an unusual but increasingly persistent conversation at the intersection of technology, identity, and ancient prophecy. According to reporting, the company is building a photorealistic, interactive digital version of Zuckerberg capable of engaging employees in real time--trained on his voice, mannerisms, and strategic thinking. What might sound like corporate innovation to some is, to others, a striking echo of imagery found in the Book of Revelation.
In particular, the "image of the beast" described in Revelation has long fascinated theologians. The text describes a future system in which an image is given life, capable of speaking, commanding attention, and enforcing allegiance. In Revelation 13:15, it states that the image "was given breath so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed."
For centuries, such language was interpreted symbolically or dismissed as metaphorical imagination. But in an age of AI-driven avatars, real-time synthetic voices, and globally networked digital identities, some observers are beginning to ask whether the technological scaffolding for such a phenomenon is quietly emerging.
Meta's initiative is not science fiction. The company is reportedly building AI-generated 3D characters that users can interact with in real time, with Zuckerberg's own digital likeness serving as a prototype. The system is designed not just to respond, but to emulate personality--drawing from public statements, leadership philosophy, and behavioral patterns. In essence, it is not merely a chatbot, but a living simulation of authority: a digital proxy that can speak as the founder, think as the founder, and potentially guide decisions in his absence.
This raises an unsettling question: what happens when authority is no longer tied to a physical presence?

Israel 365 News
By Elie Mischel: On the night of June 1, 1941, Jews in Baghdad were celebrating Shavuot (Pentecost). The next morning, mobs descended on the Jewish quarter.
By the time it was over, two days later, at least 128 Jews were dead, 210 were injured, and more than 1,500 homes and businesses had been looted or destroyed. The violence was organized, targeted, and ideologically driven — a Nazi-style pogrom carried out in the heart of the Arab world.
The Farhud, as it became known, is a name that most people, including most Jews, have never heard.
Edwin Black’s book, The Farhud: Roots of the Arab-Nazi Alliance in the Holocaust, sets out to change that. Against the backdrop of rising antisemitism and the persistent whitewashing of Arab collaboration with the Nazi regime, it remains a book that deserves to be read on Yom Hashoah — and a history that the Jewish world can no longer afford to ignore.
Iraq in 1941 was not a neutral country. After the coup led by Rashid Ali al-Gaylani, an Iraqi nationalist government sought Axis support against Britain, while the British still retained major strategic influence and soon moved militarily to reverse the situation. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husayni, was in Baghdad at the time, having fled there after fomenting Arab violence in Mandatory Palestine. He was not a bystander; the Mufti actively supported the anti-British, pro-Axis effort.
When the pro-Nazi government collapsed, and British forces entered Baghdad, a power vacuum opened, and the mobs filled it. The Jews, long a thriving community in Iraq with roots stretching back to the Babylonian exile, were the target.

By Daniel Greenfield: What if Rep. Eric Swalwell was actually the least crazy candidate in the California gubernatorial election? There was the Chinese espionage and the alleged rapes. But here’s the race now.
Steyer, a billionaire with the charm of an even more confused Bloomberg, keeps running for things without any apparent basis, but he decided that he can win in California by going as far left as possible.
It might work for him at that.
His current bold proposal is for a civil war.
A SurveyUSA poll released Tuesday, April 14, shows Democratic candidate Tom Steyer leading with 21% of likely voters and Republican candidate Steve Hilton three percentage points behind at 18%,This poll predates Swalwell officially leaving the race, so there’s still more Dem voters to divide up.

Geller Report
By Pamela Geller: What is California’s solution to the massive fraud being expsoed in undercover investigations?
Why, to criminalize such investigations, of course!
Such naked corruption is without precedent.
Nick Shirley deserves a Pulitzer, not prison. Democrat party is a criminal racket.
