Now The End Begins
Host And Founder Of ‘Now The End Begins’ Geoffrey Grider:
As Iran Says It Is ‘Just Getting Started,’ Trump’s Department Of War Faces A Religious Regime That Sees Conflict As Its Calling
Iran’s taunt that it is “just getting started” isn’t diplomatic theater or empty sabre-rattling, and it’s not merely the language of a cornered regime trying to save face. It is the language of a Shiite Islamic revolutionary state that has spent nearly half a century building itself around hatred for Israel, hostility to America, terror by proxy, and apocalyptic religious ambition. Washington keeps trying to interpret Iran through the sterile lens of sanctions, ceasefires, oil routes, naval corridors and negotiating tables, while Tehran is telling the world plainly who they are and what they intend to do. The Iranian Regime is more than happy to die for their cause, and until Trump and Hegseth realize that, things will continue to go from bad to worse as they are right now.
The current crisis over the Strait of Hormuz is exposing that blindness in real time. The U.S. is attempting to reopen the strait through “Project Freedom,” with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth saying the mission is temporary and that other nations should eventually take over the burden of protecting commercial shipping. Meanwhile, Iran is warning that American interference in the waterway is a violation of the ceasefire and is threatening further escalation. That’s the problem. America is trying to dial down the heat, Iran is trying to turn it up. Iran is not “decimated” or “obliterated”, they are enjoying every minute of it. This is what Washington still does not understand. Iran does not see the Strait of Hormuz merely as a shipping lane. They see it as leverage over the world, a pressure point against the West, and a stage upon which they can demonstrate defiance against America and Israel. Reports say hundreds of vessels and thousands of sailors have been caught up in the crisis, with U.S. forces attempting to guide ships through or around threatened waters while Iranian officials continue to issue threats and challenge American authority in the Gulf.
The Trump administration may understand carrier groups, destroyers, sanctions packages and military briefings, but it has shown very little evidence that it understands the true nature of who we are fighting. Iran is not simply a “bad actor.” It is not merely a rogue state looking for a better deal. It is the head of a terror-sponsoring Islamic regime whose entire regional strategy is built around exporting revolution, surrounding Israel, exhausting the West, and using negotiations as breathing room between rounds of conflict.
Iran’s own statements make that plain. Just days ago, Iranian officials warned of a “long and painful” response if the United States renewed attacks, while restating claims over the Strait of Hormuz and complicating American efforts to reopen the waterway. That is not the tone of a regime looking to stand down. That is the tone of a regime probing for weakness, testing resolve, and watching to see whether America still has the stomach to finish what it starts.

By Brandon Holthaus: This is not just another war in the Middle East. What we are watching right now is not simply a military campaign but something much larger unfolding, something that at the very least raises the question of the Lord’s providence moving in real time. How this moment ends will determine what comes next, not just regionally but globally. Right now, Israel and the United States, under Donald Trump, have inflicted serious damage on Iran’s military capabilities and its proxy network.
The United States and Israel have carried out a large-scale, coordinated military campaign against Iran, significantly degrading its leadership, military infrastructure, and strategic capabilities. Through thousands of strikes under operations Epic Fury and Roaring Lion, they eliminated key leaders, crippled Iran’s naval and air defense systems, reduced much of its missile capacity, and damaged major nuclear facilities like Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, setting the program back by an estimated one to two years.
The campaign has also established air superiority, allowing deep strikes inside Iran and severely weakening its ability to project power in the region. Despite major losses, Iran still retains key capabilities, including a stockpile of highly enriched uranium and the ability to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. and Israel have avoided ground invasion and extensive destruction of civilian infrastructure, and although a ceasefire was put in place, the situation is still unstable.
Furthermore, just like Israel has degraded Hamas and dealt heavy losses to Hezbollah, the IRGC has been weakened by the U.S. and Israel. But they have not been eliminated, and that is the issue. The Iranian regime being dealt with is not simply political; it is ideological and religious at its core. If that is misunderstood, everything that follows will be miscalculated by President Trump.

By PNW Staff: There is something deeply unsettling when those entrusted with defending the Christian faith begin to erode its foundations from within. It is one thing for secular critics to challenge Scripture; it is quite another when a prominent apologist--someone many believers look to for clarity--appears to reshape core doctrines to fit modern sensibilities.
The controversy surrounding William Lane Craig--a widely recognized evangelical philosopher, founder of Reasonable Faith, and an influential Christian debater of the modern era--highlights a growing divide, not just over the age of the earth, but over the authority and coherence of the Bible itself.
Craig's recent remarks comparing young-earth creationists to flat-earthers have struck a nerve. The analogy isn't merely dismissive--it's strategic. By placing young-earth believers in the same category as a widely ridiculed fringe movement, the discussion is shifted away from evidence and into the realm of mockery. It becomes easier to laugh than to engage. But for many Christians, the question of origins is not a side issue. It is foundational. If the early chapters of Genesis are treated as myth or allegory, what safeguards remain for the rest of Scripture?
This concern is amplified by a pattern of theological positions that appear increasingly detached from historic Christian teaching. Craig's openness to the idea of Adam as a genetically altered hominid living hundreds of thousands of years ago introduces a radically different understanding of humanity's origin. His rejection of original sin in its traditional form, his controversial comments suggesting abortion may confer a "greater good," and his claim that belief in the virgin birth is not essential--all raise serious questions about doctrinal consistency. These are not minor interpretive differences; they strike at the heart of Christian anthropology, morality, and Christology.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: For the first time in American history, a sitting president has called on the entire nation to observe Shabbat. In a White House proclamation signed May 4, 2026, as part of Jewish American Heritage Month, President Donald Trump designated the period from sundown Friday, May 15, through nightfall Saturday, May 16, as a national Shabbat, dubbed “Shabbat 250”, in honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence. The move sent shockwaves through Jewish and Christian communities alike, and for those who know their Talmud, the implications stretch far beyond a single weekend.
Invoking President George Washington’s celebrated 1790 letter to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island, in which Washington wrote that the United States “gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance,” Trump tied the founding promise of America directly to its Jewish citizens.
“In special honor of 250 glorious years of American independence and on the weekend of Rededicate 250 — a national jubilee of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving — Jewish Americans are encouraged to observe a national Sabbath,” Trump wrote. “From sundown on May 15 to nightfall on May 16, friends, families, and communities of all backgrounds may come together in gratitude for our great Nation. This day will recognize the sacred Jewish tradition of setting aside time for rest, reflection, and gratitude to the Almighty.”
Trump also paid tribute to Haym Salomon, the Revolutionary War–era financier who rallied support for independence and, as the proclamation put it, “gave everything to the success of the American Revolution.” The proclamation declares: “Like so many Jewish Americans who follow in his footsteps, Salomon’s legacy stands as a testament to the unshakable belief in the American promise.”

By Leo Hohmann: As most of you are aware, thousands of massive data centers are being built across America for the purpose of weaponizing artificial intelligence against we the people. Much of this blanketing of America with the edifaces of our own tyranny is being done under Project Stargate, a $500 billion plan announced by President Trump on the first day of his second term in office on January 21, 2025.
Without these data centers, AI will not be able to take over our lives, steal our jobs, obliterate personal privacy, and usher in the digitalized beast system.
And as people are starting to wake up and wise up, realizing the truth about AI’s catastrophic effects on our freedom and way of life, they are, successfully in some cases, starting to defeat the location of data centers in their cities and towns.
Aside from the fact that they will power the new digital order of total surveillance of everything, these data centers are harmful to our health, disastrous for the water table and the overall environment, and ruinous to the finances of the middle-class taxpayers as they drive up the costs of electricity, to the tune of a tripling or more of electric rates. These facilities are noisy, give off bright lights all night long, and drain water supplies, making rural and semi-rural areas basically unlivable. How convenient for the globalist power elites, whose goal is to drive people off their land and into large cities.
