Now The End Begins
Host And Founder Of ‘Now The End Begins’ Geoffrey Grider:
The Passion Translation Is Not A Bible, But A Charismatic Paraphrase That Adds To The Words Of God And Promotes New Apostolic Reformation Doctrine

The Passion Translation controversy is not merely an argument over Bible version preference, translation style, or whether modern English sounds more “readable” than old English. It is a much deeper issue than that. At its heart, The Passion Translation represents the ongoing attempt by modern charismatic Christianity to replace the fixed words of God with emotional experience, mystical interpretation, and so-called “apostolic” revelation. That is why Bible believers are sounding the alarm, and rightly so.

“Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:6 (KJV)

The Passion Translation is marketed as a Bible, promoted like a Bible, quoted like a Bible, preached from like a Bible, and used devotionally by millions as though it were Scripture. But when examined honestly, it reads far more like a charismatic paraphrase than a faithful translation of the words of God. It does not simply tell the reader what the verse says. It repeatedly tells the reader what Brian Simmons and the Passion Translation team think the verse should feel like. That is a major difference.

The King James Bible says...

Harbinger’s Daily
By Tom Gilbreath: How strange it must be for a pastor to stand at a funeral and preach the reality of heaven — even though he mostly dismisses the book from which he preaches. What a terrible burden it must be for a man or woman to make himself or herself God’s judge — choosing which of God’s words should be kept and which should be discarded based on the shallow, always-changing moral fashions of the age. Millions of churchgoers are led by people who subordinate God’s Word to the whims of a sick culture.

To impose today’s political correctness on the Bible does violence not only to the Bible, but to human souls. One seminary student turned politician has made a name for himself in Texas saying that God is “nonbinary.” Yet in Matthew 6:9 (KJV), Jesus taught us to pray, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.” After His resurrection, Jesus said to Mary Magdalene, “I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God.” To a

The same politician has announced that there are six different genders. He certainly doesn’t get that from the Bible. It says in Genesis 1:27 (KJV), “Male and female created He them.” According to The New York Times, running in the Texas general election, he now regrets “the way he had articulated some of his progressive views on gender and race.” But he has reiterated that “The Bible is silent about abortion.” Really? Most Bibles include the Ten Commandments, including number six — “Thou shalt not kill.”

Prophecy News Watch
By Tony Perkins/Washington Stand: More than two decades ago, in 2004, Harvard professor Samuel Huntington warned in his book "Who Are We?" that America was facing a crisis of identity. He argued that a nation cannot remain united without a common culture, a common history, and a common understanding of itself. Remove those foundations, and a society inevitably fragments into competing tribes, interests, and identities.

Huntington pointed to the Anglo-Protestant Creed as the core of America's unifying identity. He argued that America's political institutions and civic ideals did not arise in a vacuum but were rooted in a culture shaped by Protestant Christianity.

If Huntington identified the foundation of America's shared identity, educator E.D. Hirsch explained how that identity was transmitted: through a common biblical literacy that provided Americans with a shared vocabulary, history, and moral framework. Without that shared knowledge, the cultural foundations of national identity inevitably begin to erode.

The Founding Fathers were immersed in biblical imagery. Benjamin Franklin famously proposed a national seal depicting Moses at the Red Sea. The Israelites' exodus taught lessons about liberty, tyranny, divine providence, and national purpose.

The Bible shaped how Americans understood freedom, law, covenant, human dignity, and self-government. Even those who were not orthodox Christians were influenced by the biblical worldview that permeated colonial America.

But what happens when that biblical literacy disappears?

Israel 365 News
By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: hen the City of Paris voted last week to grant honorary citizenship to Palestinian civilians and journalists, City Hall called it a commitment to peace. The new Socialist mayor of Paris, Emmanuel GrĂ©goire, addressed the Paris City Council with Palestinian ambassador to France Hala Abou-Hassira seated alongside him as he announced the honorary citizenship. “Honorary citizenship is not just a symbol, but a commitment to peace. We are extending a hand to an entire people,” GrĂ©goire declared. The gesture drew a long round of applause for the Palestinian representative. The Council’s resolution declared that “the humanitarian situation of Gaza’s population remains dramatic.” The political right voted against, pointing to the surging wave of antisemitic acts sweeping France.

The Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF), the main body representing French Jews, condemned the move, warning that it effectively hands a political victory to the far-left La France Insoumise (LFI) party, which will use it, in CRIF’s words, “to further hystericalize the public debate and cultivate a dangerous climate of criminalizing Zionism and stigmatizing Jews, who are supposedly guilty by proxy.” CRIF also demanded to know why the honorary citizenship was not extended to the Israeli civilians of kibbutzim attacked on October 7, 2023. “Empathy for victims must be universal,” the organization’s statement read. “Don’t these civilians also deserve this symbolic recognition?”

Geller Report
By Pamela Geller: Israel has given journalists a tour of a massive tunnel network built by Hezbollah that has been captured during its war in Lebanon.

Iran has shifted the war to Lebanon, weaponizing the peace deal as cover for its terror campaign while pressuring the United States to restrain Israel from defending itself—or aiding its ally, Lebanon, against Iran’s proxy war.

This cannot stand.

Jihad Watch
By Robert Spencer: We have a strange spectacle. The war, or whatever it was, between the U.S. and Iran is over, and peace has dawned. Trump is touting his peace deal, while the Iranians are refusing to play along, and are instead making new demands, seeing Trump’s weakness and hoping he will promise that Israel will not retaliate against Hizballah’s jihad attacks in Lebanon before they give him his chimerical peace.

Meanwhile, both Trump and the Iranian leadership are claiming victory. Which one has the more convincing case? Well, the Islamic Republic is still in power in Tehran. It is still screaming “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” It is refusing to give up its nuclear program, or, indeed, give an inch on anything else. Victory? Really, Mr. President?

Front Page Magazine
By Daniel Greenfield: “A Muslim Texan sought to find his place in the party at the state GOP convention. He left in tears,” Houston’s PBS station reported.

“They’re Conservative, Vote Republican, and Love America. The Texas GOP Wants Them to Leave,” a Texas Monthly story complained.

The story of how the supposed “patriotic” Republican Muslims were being kicked out made the rounds of the media.

There was one little problem. None of it was true.

According to the Texas Monthly story, Tarek Hussein is a Republican who believes in “liberty, freedom, and small government” and saw the convention as a “a terrifying sign of where his once-beloved party is heading”.

FEC donations however show that Hussein contributed to the political campaigns of Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Rep. Al Green, Rana Abdelhamid, Rep. Shri Thanedar, Sri Kulkarni, and even further leftists like Pervez Agwan, along with Keith X. Ellison. They all have something in common and it isn’t “liberty, freedom and small government”.
