By Ken Ham: The Bible uses strong language to describe any form of compromise with worldly thinking. And it doesn’t just apply to the ancient Israelites.
Hosea 4:12 says, “My people ask counsel at their stocks [idols], and their [wooden] staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.”
Hosea used strong language against his fellow Israelites, calling them harlots because they had violated their vows to remain faithful to the one true God. Is it possible that Christians today, and particularly Christian leaders—in their zeal to make Christianity more enticing—are actually “playing the harlot,” too? Here is what I mean.
Born-again Christians who love the Lord, preach the gospel, and insist on the inerrancy of Scriptures are saddened when they read how the Israelites compromised God’s Word as they embraced more and more pagan beliefs (including idolatry) from the nations around them. God calls such compromise “harlotry.” Over and over again, Scripture gives clear instructions concerning the worship of the one true God, and it condemns compromise with pagan beliefs as harlotry Jeremiah 3:6. ...

Today, history is treated like wet clay--something to be molded into whatever shape best serves the political cause of the moment. Statues are toppled. Founding Fathers are recast as villains. National histories are rewritten through ideological lenses.
Now, even Jesus Christ isn't off limits.
The latest attempt comes from the orbit of New York City's socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani. Reports indicate that his wife, Rama Duwaji, is co-hosting a luxury spiritual retreat in Corsica where attendees--paying as much as $5,000--will meditate on Mary as a "Palestinian woman giving birth under occupation."
It's difficult to know where to begin.
This isn't creative theology.
It isn't historical scholarship.
It isn't even remotely true.
It is political propaganda dressed in religious language.
And it represents yet another effort to hijack Christianity in service of a modern ideological movement. ...

HAIFA, Israel (July 8, 2026) — Former U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Prof. Deborah Lipstadt warned on Tuesday that the political far right, the progressive left, and Islamist extremists are increasingly united by antisemitism, arguing that hostility toward Jews has become “the glue that holds these ideological opposites together.”
Speaking at the opening gala of Contemporary Antisemitism Haifa 2026, Lipstadt said she has been struck by what she described as a shared “glee” toward Jews emerging from ideological movements that otherwise have little in common.
“There is a certain pleasure, a certain glee… ‘Aha, for 80 years you got to tell us we did wrong, and now we’re getting to tell you you did wrong,'” Lipstadt said. “I have been taken aback by this, particularly on the left, but not just on the left. Tucker Carlson is saying the same thing.”
Lipstadt warned that the implications extend far beyond the Jewish community.
“This is not only about Jews. It never has been. It is about Western civilization writ large. It is about the future society we wish to build and leave to future generations. No one who values democracy, the rule of law, international stability and security can afford to look away. Far too much is at stake.”

Gov. Tim Walz and Dems swiftly rallied in support of ‘hijabing’ little girls in kindergarten. So did obnoxious social media influencer ‘Ms. Rachel’ who seems to spend half her time either preying on kids or promoting Islamist and radical leftist ideology.
“Hi to the kindergarteners in Minnesota,” her social media account tweeted. “Congrats on your kindergarten graduation. I saw some of you wore a hijab to your graduation. I am glad you wore something meaningful and special to you and your family. I think hijabs are beautiful.”
Hijabs aren’t worn because they’re “meaningful” or “special”, they were originally worn to allow Muslims to distinguish between Muslim women who are off limits and non-Muslim women who are ‘fair game’ to be sexually assaulted and taken as sex slaves.

Pierre: Former Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares (R) on Wednesday proposed a nationwide blueprint for combatting antisemitism, based on the multi-point plan Commonwealth lawmakers approved during the Glenn Youngkin administration (2022-2026). Miyares unveiled the plan during a “special briefing” with the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), stressing that the fight against antisemitism is a fight for civilization.
“You can’t be neutral or silent,” Miyares told CAM officials and others in attendance. “This is one of the defining moments of our time. Every civilization that has ever embraced antisemitism falters and fails — it is a sign of a rot. And if you don’t stamp it out, it would affect your entire society.”
CAM president of US affairs Alyza Lewin praised Miyares’ commitment to Jewish safety. “We’re asking to be protected when we’re targeted on the basis of our shared history and heritage rooted in the Land of Israel,” she told him. “When Jews are targeted by people who are hostile to the very notion that we are a people indigenous to Judea, that has to be understood as antisemitism.”

What if the missing component has been hiding in plain sight for years? What if perhaps it’s just too bizarre to discuss in polite company, so nobody talks about it?
You can read of many explanations for why Trump’s administration has been so chaotic and unpredictable, but none of them have really held up to critical analysis.
He gets bad advice from his advisers, we’re often told.
Or, he’s a businessman who exudes that “New York attitude” mixed with his love of “winning” and the “art of the deal,” which results in unconventional tactics.
Or, he’s a master chess player who is 10 moves ahead of the rest of us.
Perhaps there is some truth in some of these arguments, but none of them strike me as fully explaining what is extremely irrational behavior.
