The Thing That Hath Been Shall Be Again As The Hatred Of The Holocaust Rises Toward Israel’s Final Hour Of Testing For The Jews
The Nazi Holocaust of the Jews stands as one of the most horrifying events in human history, a time when Satanic hatred was organized, mechanized and carried out through a political system that marked, isolated, transported and murdered the Jewish people by the millions. The world looked upon the smoke of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Sobibor, Dachau and the other killing centers and said “never again,” but the Bible says something very different. The Bible says, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be,” and the same hatred that rose up under Pharaoh, Haman, Herod and Hitler will rise again under Antichrist. The Holocaust was not the end of antisemitic persecution; it was a warning shot of what fallen man and Satanic government are capable of doing when God removes restraint. And it’s fixing to come again.
If the Holocaust was one of the darkest valleys of human history, then the coming great Tribulation will be the darkest valley of all time. Hitler’s Reich targeted the Jews in Europe; Antichrist’s Beast system will target the Jews on a global scale. Hitler used trains, camps, numbers, propaganda and death decrees; Antichrist will use worship, technology, economics, global government and the mark of the Beast. This is why the Bible calls that coming period “the time of Jacob’s trouble.” It is not called the time of the Church’s trouble, because the Church is not Jacob. Jacob is Israel. Jeremiah says, “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJB). That verse matches perfectly with the words of Jesus in Matthew 24. The Jewish people will once again become the target of the Devil’s final rage, and the nations of the world will once again turn against Israel.
The Holocaust showed us what one demonized empire could do to the Jews; the time of Jacob’s trouble will show what a demonized world under Antichrist will do when Satan knows his time is short. The same spirit that built the death camps is the same spirit that here in 2026 chants for Israel’s destruction, funds terror, fires missiles and prepares the nations for the final satanic campaign against the Jews. The uniforms change, the slogans change, the technology changes, but the hatred remains the same. There is no new thing under the sun. The difference is that the Holocaust ended with the defeat of Nazi Germany, but the great Tribulation ends with the visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ at the Second Advent. Hitler was stopped by armies; Antichrist will be destroyed by the Lord Himself.
The Holocaust left survivors to testify; the time of Jacob’s trouble will leave a purified remnant of Israel who will look upon Him whom they have pierced and finally receive their Messiah. That is why Christians should care about the Holocaust, and that is why Christians should pay attention to the war with Iran. The headlines are moving in the same direction prophecy has always pointed: Israel surrounded, the nations raging, false peace rising, and Jacob’s trouble waiting just beyond the horizon. When they reached Mount Scopus and the site of the Temple came into view, they tore their garments. When they reached the Temple Mount, they saw a fox dart out from the spot where the Holy of Holies had stood in the Holy Temple. The other rabbis began to weep, but Rabbi Akiva laughed.
“Akiva,” they said to him, “you never cease to amaze us. We are crying, and you laugh!”
But Rabbi Akiva asked, “And you, why are you crying?”
The rabbis responded, “What? Shall we not weep? The place about which Scripture states, ‘and the stranger who draws close shall die,’ has become a den of foxes. Indeed, this is a fulfillment of the verse, ‘For Mt. Zion which lies desolate, foxes prowl over it.’”
“This is exactly why I laugh,” Akiva replied. “For just as we have seen the prophecies of Jerusalem’s destruction come to pass, so, too, know that the prophecies of her future consolation shall also be fulfilled. Diplomats call it disproportionate. Israeli officials call it obsessive. Rabbi Mendel Kessin, in a Torah lecture delivered this week, called it inevitable — and said the mechanism behind it was set in motion four thousand years ago, long before there was a General Assembly to convene.
Kessin’s lecture laid out what he described as the four hanhagot, the governing behaviors through which God directs history. He argued that understanding them explains not only ancient events but the daily news cycle, including why the community of nations cannot stop itself from turning on the Jewish people the moment it unites.
Why, of all the nations on earth, does hostility toward the Jewish people surface every time the nations of the world come together?
Kessin explained that when the nations gather, they become hostile towards the Jewish people. This hostility has its root in Babel. After the Flood, mankind had one language and one culture, and God had given that unified mankind a second chance to carry out its purpose after Adam and Noah had each in turn forfeited theirs. Instead, humanity built a tower to make war on God. At that point, Kessin said, the task passed to a single man, Abraham: “So God said, enough is enough. I’m now going to take the hanhagah away from mankind and give it to this one guy who seems to be promoting the belief in me. His name is Abraham Avinu.” ...

Some of this can be attributed to social media propaganda, the educational system and popular culture and helps explain the young activists flocking to the DSA.
43% of ‘students’ rate Communism favorably and only 29% rate it unfavorably making it clear that the higher educational system isn’t just broken, it’s actively recruiting the next generation into extremism, domestic terrorism and totalitarian ideologies of the most terrible kind.
