Look around you, the world is not merely experiencing a collection of unrelated crises, it is literally convulsing. The war with Iran is spreading across the Middle East, threatening the Strait of Hormuz, striking American interests and pulling nations like Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and China closer to the battlefield. In Europe, Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine is pressing against the borders of NATO, with missiles falling dangerously close to the tripwire that could ignite direct conflict between Russia and the West. Now Spain has watched its sovereign border buckle beneath a reported human wave of tens of thousands of Muslims pouring into Ceuta, followed by another coordinated assault against Melilla. The Middle East is burning, Eastern Europe is exploding, and Western Europe is discovering that an invasion does not always arrive behind tanks—it can come through an abandoned border while a paralyzed government stands helplessly watching.
Jesus Christ warned that the closing days would be characterized by “wars and rumours of wars,” with nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom. That is precisely the atmosphere now gathering over this sin-cursed world. These wars are no longer contained within neat geographical boundaries. Iran strikes across the Middle East, Russia threatens the security architecture of Europe, China arms Tehran while watching Taiwan, and great movements of desperate people are being weaponized against weakened Western nations. Every border is becoming a pressure point, every military alliance a potential tripwire, and every regional conflict a possible doorway into something much larger. The world constructed after the Second World War is coming apart before our eyes, and the demons of nationalism, religious hatred, conquest and empire are coming roaring back from the grave.
Matthew 24 is doctrinally aimed at the Jewish people during the time of Jacob’s trouble, but the shadow of that coming period is already stretching across the nations. In fact, it is our position that verses 3-8 can, and do, refer to the end of ther Church Age time period. We are not yet standing in the Great Tribulation, and will be raptured out before it starts, but we are watching the scaffolding being erected for it. The military alliances are forming, the ancient enemies are awakening, national borders are disintegrating, economic systems are straining, and frightened populations are being conditioned to accept emergency rule as a permanent way of life. The coming Antichrist will not rise in a peaceful and prosperous world. He will step forward from the wreckage of a world exhausted by war, overwhelmed by migration, terrified by economic collapse and begging someone—anyone—to restore order.
That is the real prophetic significance of what is happening. Iran, Ukraine and Spain are different flashpoints, but they are all producing the same result: confusion, fear, destabilization and a growing demand for international control. Satan is preparing the sickness before presenting his counterfeit cure. First comes the chaos; then comes the man promising peace. U.S. Senate Candidate Says ‘Islamic Mystics’ Shaped His Christian Faith Just As Much As The Bible
By Decision Magazine: Texas Democrat James Talarico—who has been heavily criticized by evangelicals for claiming that “God is nonbinary” and the Bible is silent about abortion—has also credited Islam’s influence on his religious beliefs as comparable to the Bible’s teachings, according to a recently unearthed 2024 podcast interview.
While in a more recent interview with The New York Times Talarico claimed that his faith was rooted in “Biblical Christianity,” an April 2024 interview on The State of Belief podcast alongside Muslim Texas state Rep. Salman Bhojani tells a different story, according to The Daily Wire.
“I know personally that I’ve learned as much about my faith from Salman’s tradition, from the Islamic mystics, from poets like Rumi, as much as I have from Christian authors and Christian writers,” Talarico said during the podcast. “This kind of interfaith dialogue, it doesn’t water down your tradition, in fact it strengthens it, it brings out new flavors and new colors.”
Talarico also said that advocating for the display of the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms was “deeply un-Christian.”

After announcing a preliminary agreement with Iran in June, Trump wrote, "This Great Deal will bring Peace and Security to the whole Region." Regional hostilities subsequently resumed, demonstrating how quickly sweeping declarations of peace can outrun events on the ground.
Now Trump has announced what he calls a historic agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and every other armed group in Gaza.
"This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY," Trump declared.
For students of Bible prophecy, those words immediately recall the warning of 1 Thessalonians 5:3:
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them."
That does not mean Trump's agreement fulfills this passage. Christians should not force every peace initiative into a prophetic timetable. But Scripture repeatedly warns that the most dangerous moment may come when the world believes Israel's enemies have finally been contained.

Colonial-Settler Inversion: The Foundation Of The “Palestinian” Narrative
By Gabriel Gordon: Among the many libels hurled at Israel and the Jewish people since the time of the Soviet Union and particularly since October 7th, is that of “colonizer.” The Soviet Union prompted “Palestinian” narrative, which is so deeply entrenched in the Zeitgeist of today, relies on this libel as one of its central pillars. Israel/Jews/Zionists are construed as white colonial oppressors, while “Palestinians” are portrayed as their oppressed indigenous victims fighting for liberation. Yet since Israel and the Jewish people don’t meet the qualifications to be colonizers, as I have shown elsewhere, the Euro-Arab alliance must invert reality in order to perpetuate their narrative, accomplishing this through colonial-settler inversion. They do this firstly by defining the oppressor-oppressed binary according to the vested interests of colonial-oppressors. Then, secondly, by erasing and rewriting history detached from reality, and finally, thirdly by making suffering and the losing of wars the exclusive property of the oppressed.
