The Department Of War Believes Nuclear Conflict Can Be Controlled As Trump Administration Drafts Tactical Weapons Strategy For Regional War Against Russia Or China
The Trump administration is directing the Department of War to develop a nuclear strategy that would give the president shorter-range, lower-yield and supposedly more “usable” nuclear options during a regional war with Russia or China. They call it “escalation management,” but what they are actually doing is making nuclear war easier to start. Washington is developing plans for fighting a nuclear war with Russia or China while attempting to convince itself that the conflict can remain limited. It is transforming nuclear weapons from instruments of last-resort destruction into battlefield options placed before the president during a regional crisis. It is insanity, and someone must stop it. But I don’t think anyone will.
According to NBC News, Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby is overseeing the drafting of a classified strategy that places increased emphasis upon tactical nuclear weapons. Five people familiar with the plans say the strategy would revise the nuclear-response options presented to the president during a military crisis. The men planning this strategy want the American president to have choices beyond launching long-range strategic weapons capable of destroying cities, military installations and enemy nuclear forces. They believe smaller nuclear weapons could be used to deliver a limited strike, demonstrate American resolve and force Russia or China to stop escalating. This is the language of madmen attempting to make Armageddon sound manageable. A nuclear weapon does not become safe because government officials attach the word “tactical” to it. It does not become controllable because it has a shorter range or a smaller explosive yield. It still produces a nuclear blast, radioactive fallout, mass casualties and an immediate demand for retaliation.
Once the first nuclear weapon is detonated, every carefully drafted Pentagon theory becomes meaningless. The American people are expected to believe the same war planners who failed to control Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and decades of Middle Eastern conflict, including the one raging right now, will somehow control a nuclear exchange between superpowers. They will not. In March, Department of War officials publicly acknowledged that Colby’s policy office and U.S. Strategic Command were conducting a nuclear-strategy review examining American force requirements and possible additional theater nuclear weapons. Instead of conducting a traditional Nuclear Posture Review subjected to the customary interagency process and congressional scrutiny, the administration moved the work into an internal strategy review. The architecture of nuclear confrontation is being deliberately expanded. The Trump administration is not putting out the flames of global conflict. Through the Department of War, it is fanning them while assembling the machinery for a catastrophe that will consume everything in its path. The Bible tells us that the day will come when peace would be taken from the earth, and the nations are getting ready. That day is almost here.

A Debt We Can Never Repay: Why Israel Should Have A Place In Every Christian’s Heart
By David Jeremiah: As we’re reminded every Christmas, Mary and Joseph were required to travel to Bethlehem by imperial decree for a Roman census. Luke 2:4 says, “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)”
It’s clear why that detail is important, right? God promised the Messiah would be a descendant of David. Both Joseph and Mary were part of that larger family. Both of them were qualified to receive the fulfillment of God’s promise.
But notice how God brought about that fulfillment. A pagan emperor issued a decree, thinking he was merely counting his subjects for taxation purposes—and in doing so he unwittingly opened the door for a seven-hundred-year-old prophecy concerning the village of the Savior’s birth. Joseph, a descendant of David living in Nazareth, was forced to return to his ancestral home. And there in David’s city, David’s greater Son was born—the eternal King who will one day sit on David’s throne forever.
We tend to skip over them, but the genealogies in our Bibles matter more than we realize. Matthew opened his Gospel not with a dramatic miracle or a profound teaching but with a list of names—a genealogy tracing Jesus’ lineage from Abraham through David to Joseph. Why? Because Matthew was announcing something astonishing to his Jewish readers: This is the One. This is the promised Messiah. This is the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.
Every link in that chain—from Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to Judah, through the generations to Jesse to David, through the kings of Judah and the quiet centuries that followed—was preserved by God’s providential hand to one day bring Christ into the world. Wars, famines, exiles, and persecutions threatened to break that chain. But God watched over His people, and He guarded His promise.

In recent weeks, several pastors within the Presbyterian Church (USA) have publicly questioned, softened, or reinterpreted one of Jesus' clearest and most defining statements:
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
One PCUSA pastor recently lamented that the verse has been used as a "weapon" to tell grieving families that their Buddhist neighbor may not be in heaven, comparing Christians who quote Jesus' words to theological bouncers deciding who gets through heaven's gates.
Another argued that Christ's statement should not be understood literally at all, insisting it is merely a metaphor rather than an exclusive claim about salvation.
Such comments expose a growing discomfort within progressive Christianity over one of the central claims of the Gospel itself.
The question is no longer whether Jesus said these words. Everyone agrees He did.
The real question is whether modern Christians still believe He meant them.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: Marjorie Taylor Greene announced the start of a new political movement on August 1, posting a photograph from Tucker Carlson’s home in Maine showing herself alongside Carlson, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, former National Counterterrorism Center director Joe Kent, and conservative journalist Brian Glenn, whom Greene married days earlier. “We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise,” Greene wrote. “But he’s betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center. The movement has begun.”
The five are united most directly by opposition to the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran, which began in February with joint American and Israeli strikes. Each has accused Trump of abandoning the “no more foreign wars” pledge that anchored his campaign. Carlson said he has not spoken with the president since the war began and described him in stark terms. “I feel sorry for him,” Carlson said. “He’s not a man in charge of his own life at this point.” Kent, who resigned from his post at the National Counterterrorism Center in March in the first protest resignation of a senior Trump official over the war, wrote at the time that “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.” The White House rejected the claim outright, with press secretary Karoline Leavitt calling it “insulting and laughable.”
The breaks predate the war for some of the group. Greene had already split with Trump over his administration’s handling of the Epstein files before the Iran war began, and resigned from Congress in January rather than face what she called a “hurtful and hateful” primary. Massie, who also broke with Trump over the Epstein files, lost his own primary in May to retired Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein after outside groups backed by the president spent heavily against him; his term ends in January. In late July, Massie voted for a war powers resolution aimed at limiting Trump’s authority to continue the Iran war, which passed the House 214-208.
Trump has responded to the group with unusually personal attacks, calling Greene a “traitor,” Carlson a “Low IQ person,” Kent a “SLEAZEBAG,” and Massie “Weak and Pathetic.”

According to the diocese website, “numerous migrants living in the diocese, who carried the flags of their countries of origin. Typical African songs and dances filled the cathedral, symbolizing the cultural richness and diversity that coexist in the diocesan community.”
Bishop Zornoza Boy urged parishioners to “attend to all who come without distinction and without discrimination” and the “Diocese of Cádiz and Ceuta renewed their commitment to the reception, respect and integration of migrants, recognizing in them a living testimony of Christian faith, hope and fraternity.” This was the longtime position of the diocese which in 2022 had relayed the message of Pope Francis that thanks to migrants “we have the opportunity to know better the world and the beauty of its diversity.”

Treat Iran Like Terrorists, Not A State
But we have to be willing to kill them.

Both diplomatic and military efforts to either engage or pressure Iran have all rested on the assumption that its terrorist regime is a state with national interests and that it could be tempted with membership in the international community or pressured to comply through economic sanctions or selective strikes on key targets.
Some of those tactics might have worked on normal countries that prioritize commerce over conquest, value international engagement, deplore losing money and military assets in a war that they can’t win and at the very least care about maintaining their everyday state functions.
But those same tactics have failed not only in Iran, but also when confronting other Islamic terror states like the Taliban, Hamas in Gaza or the Houthis in Yemen which do not care about the normal functioning of a state, and can absorb military and economic losses because they see them as only means to a larger ideological end only achievable through constant conflict.
Dictators conquer in order to rule a state, terrorists rule a state in order to conquer. The state, its people, its wealth and weapons are expendable assets to spread the ideology of the terrorists.
