Whether or not President Trump confronted Pete Hegseth exactly as is being reported today is almost beside the point, because one fact is becoming impossible to conceal: critical American munitions stockpiles have been dangerously depleted. Six months of sustained warfare with Iran, combined with years of supplying Ukraine and supporting military operations across the Middle East, have exposed the enormous gap between Washington’s appetite for war and America’s ability to manufacture the weapons required to fight one, and America’s enemies are starting to smell the blood in the water. How does Trump respond? By calling the whole thing “fake news” and then threatening to put the leakers behind bars.
The United States remains the most powerful military force on earth, but military power is not measured solely by aircraft carriers, fighter jets and trillion-dollar budgets. It is measured by how long those forces can continue fighting before the missiles run out. Patriot and THAAD interceptors cannot be replaced overnight, and long-range precision weapons cannot simply be ordered from a warehouse when the existing supply has been expended. These systems require specialized factories, complicated supply chains and months—sometimes years—of production. President Trump says America possesses “massive amounts” of munitions, especially of certain types. That qualification tells the story. America may possess mountains of conventional ammunition, bombs and artillery shells while simultaneously suffering dangerous shortages of the specific high-end missiles required to defend its bases, protect its allies and strike heavily defended targets from a safe distance.
This is also why the identity of the leakers has become such an explosive issue. Revealing precise American stockpile weaknesses during an active war can unquestionably provide valuable intelligence to Iran, China and Russia. But hunting down the people who disclosed the shortages will not replenish a single Patriot interceptor. The deeper scandal is that the shortages were permitted to develop in the first place—and that the commander-in-chief may not have received an honest accounting until America’s military options were already being restricted.

About 28 percent of the Bible was prophecy when it was written, roughly 80 percent of it has already been fulfilled to the exact detail, and the fulfillment rate on everything past is 100 percent. As I heard bits and pieces of the Biblical claims, I doubted them all, but I wrestled with them because some people I respected sincerely believed them. I could still explain most of it away in my head. But there was one thing I could not explain away: fulfilled prophecy.
That was the key evidence that began to break down my barriers. It let me consider the existence of Jesus, the possibility of creation, and the rest of the Bible’s claims. It eventually led to my salvation a few months after I left that school.
I share that because if you have ever wondered whether faith requires you to switch off your mind, prophecy is a good place to start looking. It is the piece of evidence I could not get around. And it is the piece of evidence you can hand to almost anyone who asks.

By Tamar Stein: Nearly 50,000 Israelis left the country for more than a year in 2025, marking the third consecutive year of record emigration, according to a new report from researchers at Tel Aviv University. The finding builds on Central Bureau of Statistics data showing roughly 90,000 Israelis spent at least three consecutive months abroad in each of 2023, 2024, and 2025, well above the annual average of about 60,000 recorded throughout the 2010s.
The researchers, Professor Itai Ater of the Coller School of Management, Professor Nittai Bergman of the School of Economics, and doctoral candidate Doron Zamir, built their 2025 estimate using a different method than the government’s official count, since CBS figures for a given year only become final once departed residents have spent a full twelve months abroad, meaning official 2025 numbers will not be published until 2027. The team found a 0.96 statistical correlation between three-month departures and eventual year-long emigration, and used that relationship to project that between 45,000 and 50,000 Israelis will ultimately be confirmed to have left for a year or more in 2025. In total, 268,509 Israelis left the country for at least three months between 2023 and 2025, a nearly 50% increase over the 183,219 who did the same between 2013 and 2015. Combined with a much smaller number of new arrivals, Israel has run a net migration deficit for two consecutive years, an occurrence Israeli demographer Sergio Della Pergola notes has happened only rarely since the state’s founding.
The report deliberately excluded recent immigrants from Russia and Ukraine who arrived within the past three years, a group government officials had previously pointed to to argue that the emigration numbers were misleading. “We wanted to show how many ‘real Israelis’ are actually leaving,” Ater said. The brain drain component of the findings is especially stark: roughly 950 doctors emigrated between 2023 and 2024 alone, and even after accounting for physicians who returned, Israel suffered a net loss of more than 500 doctors and 2,360 engineers over the same period.

The statement falsely claimed that this was “scapegoating Muslims” and claimed that “Democrats have no intention of indulging this political creepshow, particularly after the recent violence targeting places of faith.” A number of such attacks have targeted synagogues and Jews, and the Muslim Brotherhood, the subject of the investigation, has remained a vector for Islamic terrorism.
