From Abraham Accords To Antichrist, Israel’s Search For Peace And Security Is Moving Toward The Covenant, The Strong Delusion And Jacob’s Trouble As Foretold By The Prophets
The Atlantic sees Israel wrestling with an identity crisis, but from a prophetic perspective the crisis is far more serious than a battle between secular Jews, religious Zionists and the Haredim. Israel was called out by God, told to dwell alone, and warned against placing its trust in the nations around it. Yet the last days find the Jewish state increasingly dependent on alliances, security guarantees, normalization agreements and international diplomacy to preserve what only God can ultimately preserve. Think about it. The very nation at the center of Bible prophecy is still looking outward for the answer to a problem that Scripture says can only be settled when Israel is finally brought face-to-face with Jesus of Nazareth. The prophets are shouting, but no one seems to be listening. Awake, O Israel, thy King cometh!!
Bible prophecy tells us that this search for peace will not simply continue forever; it will culminate in deception. Israel will enter a covenant that appears to offer stability, only to discover that the man behind it is the man of sin. The false peace gives way to betrayal, the breaking of the covenant, the abomination of desolation where he ought not be, and Jacob’s trouble and the great Tribulation will be well underway. That is the terrible last-days irony. Israel rejected the true Messiah, and Scripture warns that another will come in his own name and be received. But Antichrist does not get the final word. The counterfeit is exposed, the nations gather, Israel is brought to the end of its own strength, and Jesus Christ returns as the only KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS who can actually deliver the remnant nation that God chose for His own. What happens next is the culmination of 6,000 years of Bible prophecy.

Why Are Evangelical Leaders Endorsing Dr. Hugh Ross’ Unbiblical And Unscientific Nonsense?
By Answers In Genesis: For over four decades prominent Bible scholars, apologists, pastors, and other Christian leaders have endorsed one or more of Dr. Hugh Ross’ many books and promoted his organization. They include Wayne Grudem, Frank Turek, Norman Geisler, Sean McDowell, William Lane Craig, J. P. Moreland, R. C. Sproul, C. John Collins, James Tour, Walter Kaiser, John Ankerberg, Bill Bright, Earl Radmacher, Theodore Cabal, Craig Keener, and Walter Bradley, to name just a few.
These endorsements have encouraged millions of Christians to accept the big bang theory as proven fact and the evolutionist view of 4.6 billion years of earth history. Accepting that evolutionary “history” includes rejecting the global Flood of Noah and accepting millions of years of animal disease, death, and extinction, and other natural evils, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and asteroid impacts.
Should these leaders and scholars be trusting and promoting Hugh Ross’ teachings? To answer that question, we need to take a careful look at his ever-changing date for the creation of Adam. It reveals the critical problem with Dr. Ross’ handling of Scripture and the scientific evidence related to the question of origins—especially the age of the creation.

They are describing two very different visions of how the world should be governed.
One places national sovereignty at the center. Nations cooperate when it serves their interests but ultimately retain control over their laws, borders, technology, military and foreign policy. The other places growing emphasis on multilateralism: stronger international institutions, global standards, international law and coordinated action when individual governments refuse to follow an emerging international consensus.
And remarkably, Israel is becoming one of the clearest fault lines separating those two visions.

World leaders spent the opening day of the 81st General Assembly calling Israel’s war against Hamas “genocide,” while President Trump, in a 38-minute speech built around the war with Iran, mentioned Israel exactly once.
On Tuesday, the day after Yom Kippur, the leaders of the world filed into the green marble hall of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. By the time the sun set over the East River, Israel had been called a perpetrator of “genocide,” a “regional threat,” and the operator of “the most inhumane and shameful concentration camp of our time.” Israel’s delegation walked out. And the President of the United States, Israel’s closest ally and its partner in a seven-month war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, stood at the same podium for 38 minutes and said the word “Israel” a single time.

What emerged on the first day was a stark picture. One nation was singled out by dozens of others, and even its friend chose to speak around it. That picture raises the question that runs beneath every General Assembly session since 1948: why does the gathering of the nations always end up aimed at one small people?
