Why Compromise On Genesis Undermines The Foundation Of The Gospel Itself
By Answers In Genesis: Why are Adam and Eve some of the last people to visit our churches? After all, Genesis is the starting point and foundation of God’s revelation about redemption! Well, if you really want to open doors, you need to know the stumbling blocks pastors must overcome.
Once, I was in a private, frank meeting with about twenty old-earth and young-earth Christian theologians and scientists. We were discussing ways to resolve our differences on the interpretation of Genesis because we agreed that this issue is critical to the church.
At the end of our two-day discussion, an old-earth Old Testament professor expressed a deep concern: we are losing the young people in our churches in droves. A major reason, he said, is that so few pastors are preaching on Genesis.
As he spoke, I recalled Answers in Genesis’ book Already Gone, which documents and evaluates this alarming exodus of young adults from the church. I thought to myself, “One reason so few pastors preach on the early chapters of Genesis is they’re not sure what to preach.” And they don’t know what to preach because they’re confused by all the old-earth and evolutionist views—promoted by professing Christians—that contradict the plain meaning of the biblical text.
But the Old Testament scholar’s comment leads me to ask readers: Has your pastor taught through Genesis 1–11 recently, or ever? If so, he is a rarity.

Hollywood increasingly presents witches as sympathetic, empowered spiritual seekers, while younger Americans experiment with practices their grandparents would have immediately recognized as occult.
But at the same time, something remarkable is happening in the opposite direction.
Some people immersed in tarot, New Age spirituality and occult practices are discovering Jesus Christ—and concluding that following Him means leaving those things behind.
Meanwhile, inside some of America's most progressive churches, the movement appears to be going the other way. Instead of allowing Christianity to challenge the culture, biblical language is being reconsidered, historic sexual ethics discarded and even traditional understandings of God and Jesus reimagined.
The irony is difficult to miss.
Some people outside the church are discovering that Jesus requires them to change.
Some people inside the church seem determined to change Jesus.

“100% Confirmed”: Noah’s Ark Hunters Declare Victory Before The Lab Results Come In

On the second day of core drilling at the Durupınar site, the bit broke on a layer the team described as harder than limestone, and within hours the news was racing across social media: Noah’s Ark had been found. The expedition’s promoters spoke of petrified wood, hidden rooms, and a discovery that would dismantle Darwinism. The laboratories that will actually test the samples have yet to report a single result.
On Sept. 22, the international research team told the Daily Mail it had “100 percent confirmed” that the formation is man-made rather than a natural feature of the surrounding mountains. The expedition’s own leadership tells a more cautious story. Andrew Jones, founder of Noah’s Ark Scans, acknowledged that the evidence has not definitively identified the formation as the biblical vessel, while insisting, “I firmly believe the Durupinar Formation represents the buried remains of Noah’s Ark.” Sivas Cumhuriyet University, the expedition’s Turkish partner, has scheduled the public release of its results for 2027.
The Bible records the Ark’s dimensions down to the cubit and the exact day it came to rest, yet says nothing about what became of it. Why would the Bible leave the fate of history’s most famous vessel untold?

Core drilling began on Sept. 21. The field program is led by Prof. Cenker Atila of Sivas Cumhuriyet University’s archaeology department, with Jones serving as vice president of the Noah’s Ark Research Project, under official authorization from Turkish government agencies. The team is collecting core samples at depths of up to 18 meters and preparing to send a robot it calls “Gopher” into what it describes as mapped voids, tunnels, and
The robot’s designer, Dr. Robert Ross of La Trobe University in Australia, told news.com.au it was repurposed from a machine he originally built for wildlife ecologists “to explore wombat burrows (WomBot) and Armadillo Burrows in French Guiana (ArmaBot).”
The team posted footage of Gopher’s first descent under the caption “FIRST LOOK: footage from inside Noah’s Ark.” The same post acknowledged that the robot needed modifications before it could look around, as its wheels struggled to move on the loose sediment, according to WION.

By Leo Hohmann: As many of my readers know, I have been concerned about the potential for the current regime in Washington to crack down on dissent and possibly even declare martial law around the time of the upcoming midterm elections in November.
The most dangerous period, I believe, will be in the weeks and months after the election. If the Republicans suffer a total loss, meaning they lose both houses of Congress and not by one or two votes but by a legitimate rout, I am concerned that the man in the White House will take drastic actions never before seen in American history.
Trump’s insane speech before the United Nations on Tuesday only magnified my worst suspicians about what may be in store for America in late 2026 into early 2027.
Now I am finding out that I am not alone in my sense that something ill this way blows. Someone with much higher credentials than myself is anticipating the same type of draconian crackdown in the aftermath of a sweeping Democrat rout on November 3, followed by a promise to impeach the president.
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson (retired), in a YouTube interview today with Judge Andrew Napolitano, delivered similar predictions about how Trump might react to a Democrat election sweep.
He started out addressing Trump’s disturbing speech this week before the U.N., comparing it to Krushchev’s angry rant before the U.N. in 1960, but if you fast-forward to about the 7-minute mark you will hear what Col. Wilkerson believes could happen in D.C. after the election, if it goes as badly for the Republicans as some are predicting.
