Muslim populations in Europe, Canada, Australia, and right here in the United States are growing at a rapid clip—so is the building of mosques. What makes this mass immigration so unprecedented is that these new Muslim arrivals have been welcomed in by their host countries. Despite approximately 1,400 years of confrontation between Islam and the West and jihad after jihad launched against non-Muslims, today’s so-called Western leaders apparently think this time will be different.

The armies of Islam roared out of the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century. They violently conquered much of the known world, from the Middle East and North Africa to South Asia and swaths of Europe. They drove as far as central France before being turned back and reached the gates of Vienna twice.
Rome was sacked by Muslim armies. Sicily, Hungary, Greece, and the Balkans all came under Islamic control. The crown jewel of Islam’s European conquests was Spain, which was ruled by Muslims for nearly 800 years before they were finally expelled in 1492.

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: An Orthodox Jewish woman who has spent nearly five decades defending Christianity from misreadings of Judaism was just accused online of hating Christians and killing Jesus. The accusation came days after she was elected president of the Catholic Biblical Association of America, and became the first Jew to hold the position since the organization’s founding in 1936.
Amy-Jill Levine learned she was being considered for the role last year and was so startled she wrote to a member of the nominating committee to ask if it was a joke. It was not. Members affirmed her as president for the 2026-2027 term at the association’s annual general meeting in Baltimore on July 20. The association has grown from 50 charter members in 1936 to more than 1,070 worldwide. It ended its requirement that members be Catholic in the 1960s, and elected its first Protestant president in 1985. Levine has been a full member since 1988, having served over the decades as associate editor, consultant, vice president, and, for 12 years, as book review editor of The Catholic Biblical Quarterly. “It’s a recognition for the hours and hours and hours I have put into the work of the association,” she said, “and I’m very appreciative that that work has been recognized.”

COGAT: Israel Supplies Gaza With More Than 70,000 Cubic Meters Of Water Daily
By Dalit Halevi: The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) addressed Gaza residents and outlined a series of measures taken to improve health and environmental conditions in the Strip. COGAT said the measures were also advanced in response to feedback and requests received from residents.
“While Hamas thugs are busy with their pathetic struggles for survival and completely ignoring your daily needs, we are listening to you and paying attention to your needs," COGAT wrote in a statement published on its official Facebook page.
According to figures released by COGAT, more than 70,000 cubic meters of water are supplied to Gaza each day through four water pipelines, two desalination plants, 170 wells and 250 mobile water tankers.
In addition, hundreds of portable toilets have been brought to shelters, while the arrival of water tankers and the removal of waste have been coordinated in various areas in response to residents’ requests.
