Our Founding Fathers Gave America ‘Checks And Balances’, And This November I Want A Congress Willing To Use Them To Hold Donald Trump and MAGA Accountable
The Republican Party needs to understand something: my vote has to be earned. I am not voting in this year’s Midterm elections because Republicans have performed so poorly that rewarding them with another victory would excuse the very behavior they should be answering for. Donald Trump told supporters, “I’m asking you to pretend that I’m on the ballot.” Very well, Mr. President. I have considered your performance, and you have not earned my support. Making this election about yourself means accepting that Americans can look directly at your record and decide your MAGA Party deserves to lose.
Let’s start with the war in Iran, shall we? In March, Trump declared, “In the first hour it was over.” Months later, he was still talking about winning it “very soon.” Nearly 50 times the Commander-in-Chief declared the war to be “won” or “over”, and none of it was true. How many times can a president announce victory while the conflict remains unresolved before Americans demand an honest accounting?
I am tired of being sold a triumphant ending while watching the brutal consequences continue to unfold. Those contradictions have destroyed my confidence in just about anything he has to say. His word has become meaningless. A president asking for my support owes me the truth about the war he is directing, the risks Americans face, and what achieving his objectives will actually require.

Romans One On Display: Secular Study Struggles To Answer Why The Laws Of Physics Are So Perfectly Suited To Life
By Ken Ham: I rarely read of a study that confirms Romans 1 as perfectly as a recent story from ScienceDaily, titled “Scientists make stunning discovery that could help explain why life exists.”
The summary of the article explains the new study this way: “Scientists have discovered that the universe’s fundamental physical constants may be finely balanced to make life possible. Even tiny changes to these constants could make liquids too thick or too thin for essential biological processes, potentially preventing life as we know it… The findings raise intriguing questions about why the laws of physics seem so well suited to life.” (emphasis added)
In other words, this new theoretical study adds another constraint to the long list of conditions that must be just right for the supposed origin of life. If the fundamental constants of physics were slightly different, liquids (water, blood, etc.) would be either too thin or too thick for life to exist. The article says, “Scientists have uncovered a remarkable connection between the fundamental laws of physics and the ability of life to exist. Their findings suggest that even relatively small changes to some of the universe’s most basic physical constants could dramatically alter how liquids flow, potentially preventing essential biological processes from taking place.”
So even if the universe somehow managed (by dumb luck, as the late Dr. David Menton would say) to assemble all the ingredients necessary for life, without the ability for liquids to move as they do, life would be impossible. And for these researchers, that raises a question: “The work raises a profound question about the universe. Why do the fundamental laws of nature have values that appear so well suited to the existence of life?”

Last week Iran’s parliament approved Article 22 of a bill titled “Countering the Infiltration of Foreign Intelligence Services and Governments or Entities,” which makes it a crime for Iranian citizens to give interviews to, or hold conversations with, any media outlet or “media figure” that the Ministry of Intelligence has publicly designated as hostile. That list already names the leading Persian-language Christian broadcasters.
“Anybody connected to us, anybody working for us, anybody supporting us, even appearing on our channel, even going and doing a like on our social media, is a criminal, officially criminal,” said Hormoz Shariat, founder of the Dallas-area Iran Alive Ministries, in an interview with Peter Wooding of the Global News Alliance.
The ayatollahs are fighting a war against a television signal. That raises a question with roots going back 2,500 years to the Persian court of King Darius: what happens when an empire writes a law forbidding people to pray?

The two terror plots targeting state capitols and legislators in two different states took place less than three months apart and while these are the sorts of terror plots that might have been expected of Islamic terrorists, Bowie and Caldera were Americans, and yet their plots were Islam-inspired.
The Bowie and Caldera terror plots were not the first Islam-inspired attacks in America.
Last year, Elias Rodriguez, a Chicago radical leftist, murdered an engaged couple at the Capital Jewish Museum, while shouting, “Free Palestine”. A spectrum of Islamist and leftist groups ranging from the DSA Liberation Caucus to the Bronx Anti-War Coalition, to Unity of Fields, linked to Iran, endorsed the Islam-inspired terrorist attack in Washington D.C..
