The U.S. Army Launches ‘Operation Dragon Covenant’ Exercise To Prepare For Burying 2,400 Fallen Soldiers A Day

Host And Founder Of ‘Now The End Begins’ Geoffrey Grider:
OPERATION DRAGON COVENANT: Army Planners Estimate Capacity To Temporarily Bury 2,400 Fallen Troops A Day As Washington Weighs Renewed Military Attacks Against Iran

All across Europe, governments are telling their citizens to prepare for emergencies that could interrupt the services modern life depends upon. Britain’s October 22 preparedness campaign urges households to plan for disruption to electricity, water, phones and the internet. Sweden’s 2024 “In Case of Crisis or War” brochure explicitly addresses the possibility of armed attack and households surviving a week without outside assistance. The European Union’s 2025 preparedness strategy brings civilian and military readiness together, including emergency stockpiles, joint exercises and at least 72 hours of household self-sufficiency. Taken together, these measures reveal a serious planning assumption that the systems people rely upon could become overwhelmed, disrupted or unavailable. In America, the US Army has launched Operation Dragon Covenant to train soldiers on the most efficient way to bury the bodies of thousands of dead soldiers at a time. Is anyone starting to see a theme here?

“Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.”
Ezekiel 39:13 (KJV)

At Fort Bragg, Operation Dragon Covenant brought together engineers, fatality management specialists, preventive medicine personnel and chaplains to test large-scale temporary battlefield interment. The Army describes standard plots holding 100 remains in five trenches. Based on excavation times, planners estimated that an engineer company equipped with eight bulldozers and four military excavators could prepare and close trenches for up to 2,400 remains in 24 hours of continuous operations. That figure measures estimated burial capacity; behind it lies the grim possibility of a battlefield where the dead cannot be promptly evacuated. The Army says it has not executed temporary battlefield interment at scale since the Korean War. Consider the human reality behind those calculations: fallen service members awaiting recovery, families awaiting answers, and combat conditions severe enough to interrupt the journey home. The soldiers developing these procedures are confronting consequences that every political leader contemplating escalation right now should be made to explain.

According to the Associated Press, American officials have warned regional allies to prepare for possible military action after the November 3 elections and Iranian retaliation against energy facilities and other critical infrastructure. Those warnings describe how another offensive could reach beyond the targets of the opening strikes and disrupt the systems that sustain civilian life. The much broader picture is that governments are increasingly preparing for conditions in which both civilian services and military support systems come under extraordinary strain. Households are being asked to build reserves; Army engineers are testing burial trenches. The public deserves a clear explanation of the risks driving those preparations. Before Washington launches another offensive, Americans should demand specific objectives, an accounting of the potential human cost, and an explanation of how leaders intend to prevent the next escalation from becoming a much larger war.

Liberty And Justice:
The Hebrew Scriptures And
The Jewish People Who Helped Make
‘The Great American Experiment’ A Reality

By Steve Herzig: The first time I visited Philadelphia, I was elated to walk the same cobblestone streets that Benjamin Franklin had walked. The city’s historical landmarks I toured—the Betsy Ross House, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell—all thrilled me. As I explored, I kept reminding myself, This is the heart of American history. Our country’s founders walked here.

Most Americans, like me, are proud of our citizenship and grateful for our independence because we share a common trait: Our ancestors left faraway lands to pursue freedom and economic opportunity in the Goldene Medina (Yiddish, “Golden Land”) called America. I considered this fact as I watched a parade of ships from distant countries, military-jet flyovers, and vibrant fireworks in celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary this past summer.

My parents would have loved to watch and celebrate, as would their parents, who fled the antisemitism of Eastern Europe. My father returned to Europe, courtesy of Uncle Sam, to fight the Nazis in World War II and keep America safe. He loved our country and taught me to love it as well.

The same is true of most Jewish Americans. We feel a connection to our founders’ philosophy as expressed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We take pride in our Pledge of Allegiance, which ends, “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

I believe God uniquely raised up America as a republic governed for the people by the people. Though certainly not perfect, it was and is a haven for the oppressed, a place to worship freely, unfettered by the government; and it has the reputation of being a nation where success is achievable through hard work, sacrifice, and commitment.

When Democrats Put Christ On The Ballot, Which Christ Are They Preaching?

By PNW Staff: Pastoral titles and Bible verses can make a political campaign sound like a Christian witness. But a candidate's use of Jesus' name does not tell voters whether he is faithful to Jesus' teaching. That question has to be answered by examining the whole message: what a candidate affirms, what he rejects, and what he leaves out.

That is the challenge facing Christian voters as Democrats James Talarico in Texas and Adam Hamilton in Kansas place their faith near the center of their campaigns. Talarico invokes Scripture against Christian nationalism and calls for "flipping tables." Hamilton presents himself as a pastor and bridge-builder. Both are seeking to reach voters who may be wary of Republicans or dissatisfied with the candidates on the other side.

There is nothing wrong with a Christian running for office, and no political party owns the name of Christ. Christians should scrutinize conservative candidates who use religious language while acting against biblical principles, too. But a campaign does not become Christian simply because its candidate quotes Scripture, serves as a pastor, or speaks about protecting the vulnerable.

When Scripture Is Made To Say The Opposite

Talarico's religious language raises more than a question about political style. In a Texas House prayer, he described God as "nonbinary," drawing on the biblical statement that humanity was created male and female in God's image. But Genesis is describing human beings as male and female; it is not presenting God as a nonbinary being. The passage does not support turning God into a reflection of today's gender politics.

His defense of abortion rights also raises a direct conflict with a historic Christian understanding of the value of unborn life. Talarico has argued that the Bible's account of Adam receiving life with his first breath means Scripture does not establish life before birth. But the Bible's description of Adam's creation is not a teaching that human life has no value in the womb. Scripture portrays God as knowing and forming people before birth. A campaign cannot settle the question by selecting one passage and ignoring the wider biblical witness.

When the media does reluctantly cover it, they blame the victims and “islamophobia.”

Through The Lens
What These Pastors Are Teaching About Jesus Is Disturbing

Synopsis: What happens when a pastor questions the resurrection of Jesus Christ... on Easter Sunday? And why are more churches embracing teachings that directly contradict Scripture?

In this episode of Through the Lens, Pastor Curt Reed examines the growing spiritual deception taking place across America and the world, warning that the Bible foretold an increase in false teachings and apostasy in the last days.

From pastors questioning the bodily resurrection of Jesus to controversial teachings about His identity, Curt explores how biblical truth is being challenged from within churches themselves.

But the warnings don't stop there.

As central banks continue exploring digital currencies and the world moves toward increasingly cashless transactions, are we witnessing the technological foundations of the economic system described in Revelation 13?
