IS IT BIBLICALLY CORRECT FOR CHRISTIANS TO ARM THEMSELVES FOR PROTECTION

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

IN LIGHT OF THE MASS MURDER IN THE CHURCH IN SOUTH TEXAS, IS IT BIBLICALLY CORRECT FOR CHRISTIANS TO ARM THEMSELVES FOR PROTECTION

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

With the threat of both domestic and foreign terrorism the Christian world is thinking through the issue whether they should arm themselves to protect the people and the church facility unlike that which has been the case in the past.

David James laid out an excellent explanation of the Biblical approach to the issue. The last thought that David had about Jesus leading the battle of Armageddon was very important. This future prophetic event will bring an end to the satanic power that is in this world, that’s Revelation 19:11-21. And that then sets up this world for the Lord’s earthly kingdom to come into place, Revelation 20:4-6.

GOD HAS A FUTURE PLAN FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

AS CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE THE LORD’S TABLE AT THEIR LOCAL CHURCH THEY ARE GIVING TESTIMONY THAT GOD HAS A FUTURE PLAN FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

Many Christians probably do not realize that the church ordinance of the Lord’s Table is a promise to the Jewish people that God has a plan, a future plan for the Jewish people.

Those Christians that deny Gods’ plan for the Jews are denying the Lord’s plan for Jewish people as recorded in his word. Thus they are denying the truth of the Bible. Bible prophecy actually foretold this scenario for the end times. As the Bible teaches we are on course for God’s plan for the future to be fulfilled.

KURDISTAN?

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

THE JEWISH STATE OF ISRAEL IS CALLING ON THE WORLD TO ALLOW THE KURDS TO HAVE THEIR OWN INDEPENDENT STATE

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Kurds in the top third of modern day Iraq have long wanted their own independent state in this oil rich region of the Middle East. Not one of the other Middle Eastern nations except Israel wants the Kurds to have their own nation. In fact, Turkey, Iran, Syria, and Iraq say that they are willing to go to war to stop the Kurds from forming the nation of Kurdistan.

Modern day Kurds are the Biblical Medes of the Medo-Persian Empire the Gentile power who allowed the Jews to return to Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity, that’s Ezra chapters 1-6.

Speaking of the Babylonians that’s modern day Iraq the ancient Jewish prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 51:11 says that God will raise up the Medes the Kurds of today to destroy Babylon in the last days, and that’s Revelation chapter 18.

THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY IN NORTHERN IRAQ IS IN DANGER

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Christian community in Northern Iraq dates back some 2,000 years ago. Since 1991 that community has been persecuted and has almost disappeared. As Christians we need to heed that four-alarm fire warning and at least put these Christians on our prayer list. That must be a priority. However, let me also remind you that this has a prophetic significance as well.

During the coming tribulation period true believers in Christ will be beheaded for their faith, that’s Revelation 6:9-11 and Revelation 20:4, 5, 6. Please remember that this region of the Middle East, Iraq is Biblical Babylon headquarters for the Antichrist in the last half of the tribulation period, that’s Revelation 18.

The plight of Christians in Iraq today a precursor for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Please remember the words of Jesus Christ spoken in the Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew chapter 24. Jesus gave a warning that in the last days there would be false teachers. We must pay heed to the words of Jesus Christ.

JD: We need to take a few moments to actually look at Revelation chapter 12. Who is the woman, who is the child, and who or what is the dragon and how do we determine this from the Biblical text?

DJ: One of the things we need to understand is that the book of Revelation although it’s largely chronological it’s not completely chronological. When I’m teaching about the book of Revelation I explain it as something like a movie as John is seeing these visions. And what happens in a movie many times as you’re going along you get to a point in the story you have a need for some background information so there will be a flash back. MANY PRO-ISRAEL CHRISTIAN GROUPS ARE RAISING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THE JEWS, BUT NOT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EVANGELIZING THE JEWS

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

WE REPORT THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE IT IS SETTING THE STAGE FOR BIBLE PROPHECY TO BE FULFILLED

Genesis 12:3 says that we are to bless the Jews. Now that’s a command. However, there is only one way to really bless the Jew. That’s to give the Jews the gospel so that they can get saved, that’s Romans 1:16.

Notice that statement in the verse to the Jew first. Anyone that is not saved will enter the tribulation period and then ultimately be cased into the lake of fire. That’s Jew or Gentile, all people. In Romans 9:1-3, Paul says that he would be will to go to hell himself if he could win Jews to Jesus Christ. Now that is real compassion that we need.

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S UNFULFILLED PROMISE ON JERUSALEM

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS LOSING SUPPORT AMONG EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS BECAUSE OF HIS UNFULFILLED PROMISE ON JERUSALEM

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years United States Presidents have promised to move the United States embassy to Jerusalem. Donald Trump did that exact same thing during his campaign. However after becoming President, Donald Trump has failed to keep his promise. He did say however that he was delaying the embassy moving and it would come later. This presidential declaration has caused a drop off of support for President Trump among the evangelicals. Christians by the way are the major supporters of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. These Christians are right because it is Biblically correct. In fact, God has chosen Jerusalem to dwell among his people forever, that’s Psalm 132:13 & 14.

THE END TIMES FALSE CHURCH AS FORETOLD IN REVELATION 17

EXAMINING CURRENT EVENTS IN
THE LIGHT OF GOD’S PROPHETIC WORD

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH WILL BE THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE FALSE CHURCH AS FORETOLD IN REVELATION 17

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled.

Many people have asked me if the Catholic Church in Rome is the false church as foretold in Revelation chapter 17. Let me quickly remind you that the words Catholic Church are not found in this prophetic passage. However, Revelation 17 does give us a description of the world wide false church that will be in Rome. It will be a mother son cult and it seems to be describing the false church of Revelation chapter 17. For example, the false church is a mother son cult dating back to the book of Genesis 11:4.

This church will be headquartered in a seven-hilled city and that is the city of Rome as we’ve already mentioned. And the beast mentioned eight times in the passage is the antichrist who will rule this false church. Revelation 17 may well be describing the Roman Catholic Church whether or not that is the case there will be a pseudo church in Rome during the tribulation period whoever that may be.
