A mainstream news item on television today reported that the "FBI" was not creating a massive citizen database on Americans. An FBI rep was brought into the report to corroborate the story... however, conspicuously missing from the report was any mention of the ATF amassing these alleged types of files. Misdirecting attention and negating the AFT reports seemed to be afoot.
