“One Nation Under Allah.”

It just can’t happen. Religion is at our very core; and if we will not honor the true and living God as God, then we will fill that vacuum with a false god. Exhibit A: Rocky Mountain High School in Colorado. Outrage is building over the fact that students were encouraged to recite the Pledge of Allegiance over the loudspeaker in Arabic, replacing “one nation under God” with “one nation under Allah.”

The school’s principal, Tom Lopez, is standing by his decision to allow the pledge after receiving a flood of complaints from parents outraged over the incident. He claims to not be pushing an Islamic agenda. Lopez told Fox News “These students love this country. They were not being un-American in trying to do this. They believed they were accentuating the meaning of the words as spoken regularly in English.”

Danielle Clark, communications director of the Poudre Schoool District, said “We understand not everybody would agree with the students’ choice. We’ve heard there are some who are upset.” On the other hand, she said she received one email from a person who “thought it was a great thing.”

So now, one speaks for the many. This is going on in every public school system across the country. School administrators are experimenting with our rights and suggesting that students do the same. Parents in Colorado and elsewhere: I’m warning you to get your children out of the public school system. This will happen more and more. Already, the government is imposing its will in our public schools. Now they want to start indoctrinating them in kindergarten. This is only one in a series of incidents that challenge our belief in the freedoms outlined in the Constitution. Freedom of Religion is a prime one and one that the country was founded upon. The Church of England wanted the Colonists to worship according to its directives. The Colonists refused and were taxed as a punishment. The rest is history.

One of the local papers, The Coloradoan, reported that members of a group called the Cultural Arms Club wanted to break down barriers to embracing other cultures; how altruistic is that? High School students can strive to do that. So despite protests from the rest of the school, the group recited the pledge in Arabic. When they got to the last sentence, they used “Allah” instead of “God.”

If you take our Pledge of Allegiance and put it in another language, it could be used in a different country for different reasons. We don’t repeat the French National Anthem in English in our schools, do we?! Substituting the word “Allah” for God is a misnomer. Allah is not God and will never be God. The Muslim religion does not recognize God as the creator of all things or that Jesus is his son. They don’t belong together, and they should not be linked together. These students are misguided at best.

Where are the teachers? Why doesn’t someone explain that the Pledge of Allegiance is an original American product and is meant to be said in English. Immigrants who come to this country legally learn English almost as soon as they get here. To become a citizen, you should have to know how to speak English. To drive on our roads and shop in our stores, you have to be able to read English. English is the language spoken by most countries around the world. There is a reason for that.

Time and again, people have suggested saying the “Pledge of Allegiance” in a language other than English. It is not meant to be said in any other language; and for many, the meaning gets lost in the translation. Stop trying to turn America into some other country. If you come to this country, speak our language and abide by our laws. Don’t turn America back into the hell hole you just left.

The Principal of Rocky Mountain High School is an example of what is wrong with our educational system. He does not see the danger in letting our “Pledge of Allegiance” be changed to meet the needs of others. If others want to come here, let them come here legally and recite our “Pledge of Allegiance” in English as it was meant to be.

“I’ve been shocked with prejudicial statements that have been made,” said Principal Lopez. “When they pledge allegiance to United States, that’s exactly what they’re saying,” Lopez said. “They’re just using another language as their vehicle.” He claims that when one cites the pledge in Arabic that Allah is the word used for God, but that is not true. It is a proper name for their false deity, much like the God of the Bible’s is Yahweh. In other words, this is not a generic rendering of the word “God.” It is specific. Principal Lopez and others like him are a danger to the freedoms of our children. He should be re-educated on why our country is here and how it became free.

It has been documented that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is demanding that Muslims get special treatment in public schools. They have also passed out literature to teachers on the Islamic ideology and bashed schools for promoting off-campus Bible studies. Where do these people get the temerity to challenge our system and intimidate the educators in our schools and universities? Something is very wrong in a society where the president praises a socio-economic religion and condemns the belief in a one true loving God. Muslims make up a very small percentage of the American populace, but their influence on this White House is enormous. The parents were right to be outraged; and if they truly love their children, they should do everything they can to get them out of the indoctrination centers of public “education.” » Full Article
