Obama’s Nominee To Be The Next Surgeon General
On Today’s Show (March 13, 2014): Larry Pratt is the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America. They promote our 2nd Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms.What's the connection between Vivek Murthy, President Obama's nominee to be the next Surgeon General and Larry Pratt's Gun Owners of America? As Larry put it, 'How does this guy (the Surgeon General) stick his nose into the gun control debate? Yet that's exactly what he's done.'
Vic noted that Dr. Murthy's credentials are 'shockingly minima' and he's only been active as a doctor for 8 years. According to Larry, as far as Gun Owners of America can tell, during that time he's probably been more active politically in contrast to taking care of patients.
Dr. Murthy, who heads up 'Doctors for America', thinks guns are an epidemic and a medical problem and urges physicians to ask detailed questions of their patients regarding gun ownership and usage.
